What You Can Expect

Morning Maverick Horseback Ride with Breakfast

Morning Maverick Horseback Ride with Breakfast

Start your Wild West horseback riding tour with morning pickup from Las Vegas Strip hotels and relax during the 30-minute drive to a horse ranch in the desert. On arrival at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, you’ll sit down for a hearty western-style cowboy — or cowgirl — breakfast. Feast on pancakes, hash browns, eggs and toast accompanied by your choice of bacon, sausage or ham and wash it all down with orange juice and coffee.

While professional wranglers prepare the horses for the trail ride, take in the serenity of the majestic surroundings, where red rock mountains and desert meet. You’ll be paired with a tame horse that is well-suited to your skill level for the approximate 1-hour ride.

Follow the same horse trails once used by some of the most infamous outlaws of the American West. Keep your camera on hand to capture photos of grazing cattle and, if you have a keen eye, spot bighorn sheep, road runners and jack rabbits scuttling through the brush.

After your horseback ride, head over to the ranch’s on-site cowboy town and petting zoo. You’ll return to your hotel on the Strip with plenty of time left in the day to experience more of Vegas.

Please Note: This is a single-file trail ride. Due to safety regulations, customers are not permitted to run or gallop the horses on the trail.

Excellent morning. We were picked up on time at our hotel, had a fantastic breakfast on the ranch and a great ride through Red Rock Canyon. Horses very well looked after and the lady who took us out was very informative about the horses, ranch and surrounding area. When we go back to Vegas next year, we plan to do a longer ride as an hour was not enough.

Absolutely fantastic trip!!! I had never been on a horse before so was a bit unsure and i was on my own as my husband was away doing the dirt bike tour! I don't regret a second of it!

If you get the choice to have breakfast first or ride the horse first i'd definitely say go ride the horse first as you will then get the option for breakfast or lunch and the lunches are fantastic!! Our guide was Robbie and he was just fantastic, made sure we were all comfortable enough and was enjoying ourselves!

Highly recommend even if you are on your own, they make you really feel included in everything! Would love to go on a longer trek next time :-
