For this adventure you need a rating higher than 'Absolutely Fantastic'! This was the highlight of our trip. We wish we would have done this every day! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge with us freely. We both felt like we could easily have just stayed on-site with this group rather than in Las Vegas itself.

We did several things when we went to Vegas, but this one was the best. The gold mine portion was very interesting and I really enjoyed it. However it was shorter than I expected. Immediately after that, we drove just another mile to the Eldorado Canyon ATV trails. The ATV trails are pretty mild, so I would say anyone could do it. The views from up there were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Our guide was great. It has been a long time since I'd met such an interesting person. I hope to run into him again as I plan to book more excursions.

Great trip, just be sure you confirm the pick-up time and location with your tour operator in advance.

Because of recent flash flooding, there seemed to be a lot of trails that we could not go on, and it seemed like we were travelling around the same paths to kill time. Had I known about the lack of trails, I definitely would not have booked this. There was no panning for gold and no lunch by a river. Lunch was under a tarp by the canyon wall. It seemed to be a one person show, and should have been more professional for the price. The gold mine was worth it, and the scenery was beautiful.
