This was great. Super guide, he was sooo knowledgeable about Vegas and the Hoover Dam. He made the trip very entertaining also. Becareful to make sure that you're aware of your hotel collection point in the morning as they told us the wrong place and then denied it.
I'm not sure why they stopped off at the chocolate factory on the way back though?? Seemed a little bit pointless...

It was a great tour! Our guide, Jason, was great. He kept us entertained all the way and the drive definitely went so quickly. The Dam was very interesting. At first we were told that the elevators to the generator level were not working, but they managed to repair them while we were still there. The only downside was that they told us we could downgrade our tickets when the elevators were not working and then when they were repaired we had to upgrade again. This caused unecessary time in lines! Aty this point they should have allowed us in at the downgraded rate.Lunch was great too! And we really enjoyed going to Ethel M's. Amazingly delicious choclate and pecan brittle!

We had a fantastic time! Jody (hope the wedding was great) was so much fun and informative....of course she had Allen as her "straight man" and he did a wonderful job driving the Dam Bus. Will do another tour with you when we come back into town. Jan and Haig, Rick and Mary

A brilliant trip and am very glad we chose this one over all the others! There were just a few hotels on the pick up list, so no long trips round the hotel garages which was great! We had time at the new bypass bridge for excellent views of the dam, got plenty of time at the dam and a fab walk across the top which filled us in on far more facts than we got from the official tour! We had a visit to the viewing site of lake mead, a trip round boulder city inc lunch and finally a stop at ethel m chocolate factory! All fitted into 6 hours - back at 2! It was perfect - and yes, the tour guide had us all in stitches and really did mske the trip! Thanks Jason!

Comedy-on-Deck made our rainy trip to the Hoover Dam a hoot. Guide Diana was very knowledgable about the dam and history. Would recommend to anybody going to the Vegas area to take time for this tour! D. Smith

Our guide Jason was very informative and hilarious! We visited the new road bridge for photos of the dam first and then on to the actual dam. Our tour was great. Down into the turbine room, etc. The bus also drove us across the dam and back.
The group only had about 12 people on it. Jason knew everyones names and it was very personal. Much better than the massive tours.
Although we booked the 'express' tour, we were put onto the 3/4 day tour which included lunch (very nice at boulder city hotel) at no extra cost. They also dropped us off at our hotel that wasn't on the drop off list.
This is highly recommended.

Brilliant value for money! Really interesting, funny and informative! Our tour guide/stand up comic, was very funny and told us loads of fascinating facts about the dam, it's construction and the people who built it... I wanted to see the dam but didn't expect to enjoy the tour as much as I did as I was slightly fearful of being bombarded with too many boring facts, but it wasn't like that at all. It was an early(ish) start, but well worth it! There's not many people who can get me chuckling at 7.30am but our guide managed it straight away!
If you want to see the dam, I would definitely recommend this tour - it gives you plenty of time to wander round and take lots of photo's of the awesome scenery and the dam itself.
:o)

First off I have to say that we scheduled and paid for the Hoover Dam Express Tour. However, when we showed up, the tour guide was about to leave with his group for The Ultimate Hoover Dam Tour. He was unaware that we booked the "express." So he had us join his group with no problem. His name was Jason and he was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. The Dam was breathtaking! I think any Hoover Dam tour is worth the time and money. Enjoy!
