My husband and I just took this tour a couple of days ago. The tour guide Trevor is outstanding! Funny and informative. A special treat was listening to the bus driver, Alan, play the piano after lunch. The tour hit all of the sights to see around the hoover dam and it was a dam good time!

This tour was a great way to spend the day. Trevor, our guide, was very knowledgeable and funny with only a few really lame jokes!. Special kudos go to our driver, Allen, who handled the bus magnificently through several tight spots and also showed off some terrific skills on the piano at the Boulder Dam Hotel. The Bypass Bridge and the dam itself were very impressive and made me want to learn more about these building projects. The little side trips to Boulder City and the Ethel M Chocolate Factory were also nice. Lunch at the Omelet House was better than what is usually provided on tours like this. Overall, it was time and money well spent.
My daughter 12 and I took this tour June 19th with Jason as our guide and Alan was our driver. It was one of our favorite tours from the entire two week vacation for several reasons. Jason was very entertaining and charming appealing to all age levels--my daughter thought he was hilarious, but he is also extremely knowledgeable about the Dam and its construction/history. There are many extra's offered in this tour including a fantastic lunch at a real restaurant you pre-order during the day from a choice of sandwiches and wraps or salad, soups etc., a walk on top of the Dam, and also a walk over the bridge for fantastic photos of the Dam. Jason if you read this, please comment on the restaurant name if possible, because I can't remember and I still crave my Grey Goose Watermelon drink I had there! We also enjoyed the tour through the museum at the hotel across from the restaurant, the cactus garden and Ethel M's Chocolate Factory which did indeed have the best dam hot chocolate we've ever tasted--never imagined wanting hot chocolate in 100 degree weather but it was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to book this tour again for any age. It's fun, informative and a favorite memory from our vacation. ps Alan is a fantastic piano player too! Thanks guys--Donna and Savannah from Alabama! :
Very well organized tour, informative, fun. We liked our tour guide. Proper lunch in the nice restaurant. No complains. Highly recommended.
The tour was so informative thanks to our guide, Trevor. Our lunch was a surprise. No cold box lunch but we stopped at a hotel and had a delicious lunch...included in our tour price.
Would definitely use this tour company again.
Allen was a great driver. Jason kept us laughing the entire trip. Lots of good history. Loved the trip!!
We had a great time! Our tour guide and driver were both pleasant and informative. The meal at the old hotel in Boulder city was a nice touch also. A day well spent!
We were on the tour bus with Donkey and Shrek, driver and guide host. Donkey was funny, knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful with the do's and don'ts. They were very safety aware, and took care of the entire group with individual attention. Without doubt, I highly recommend this tour. Bus was clean and cool, we laughed, and had the perfect time, loved it.
WOW this was an awesome trip!!!! The drivers Tom and Phil were great!
The tour guide Jason was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable about the Dam.
Jason even took the time to answer our questions on things to do in Vegas.
We will definitely use this company again for any tours.
It was one of the most enjoyable trips the guide was very funny and informative
Very informative account of the history and development of the Hoover Dam. Impressive tour of the site power generators and building of the dam. Tour guide, Jason, was a great story-teller, raconteur, and jokester. We enjoyed the round trip, and the lunch thoroughly.
Jason and Allen were excellent Well informed and made us very comfortable. Cared for all our needs would do it again with them.j
Glad we done this dam tour!!
Jason our guide and Alan the bus driver were a great double act, Jason was not only knowable of the area and the dam he was also very funny too.
The tour of the dam was very interesting, didn't realize just how big the dam thing is.
There was a stop at a museum in Boulder City, the stop at the restaurant on the way back for food was very good and the stop at Ethel M's Chocolate Factory was good too, though expensive if you wanted to indulge.
Overall great value.
We had a great time !! It was very windy that day, but it helped keep the heat from getting to us. Everything was handled just like it was presented on line. All of the views were magnificent !! Great tour !!
Trevor was fantastic !!! informative, entertaining and making sure that we were safe and satisfied - all in one. We have taken tours all over the world and want you to know he is the very best host and guide we have ever encountered !!!
Trevor and Robert were the dynamic duo. Trevor was a wealth of information while Robert kept us on the road. I would highly recommend them for any tour.
This was the best part of our trip. The tour with Trevor as our guide was awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to see our guide go out of his way to make the trip over the top.The only weak spot I could find is that directions on where to be picked up vague
Trevor was a very good guide. I had never been on a tour with a comedian before. I was apprehensive, as this kind of humor can get old, and be ove-used. But, he had a good sense of how much schtick to use, and when. We really enjoyed his leadership, and his knowledge and ability to answer specific questions was superlative. Well done!
This was an AMAZING tour. The tour company was awesome! Our guide Trevor was very knowledgeable and funny and the bus driver Robert was quite skilled. It was a pleasant surprise that there was a huge cooler full of ice water for all on the tour, it was quite HOT the day we went. I have watched many shows on the Hoover Dam and I feel that Trevor taught me a few things I didn't know. There was more to the tour than what is listed online but I don't want to ruin anything. To wrap up the day we had a great meal and got to visit with other people on the tour. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed...
Great tour ! Trevor was a great guide with lots of information passed along.
