What You Can Expect

Wild West Sunset Horseback Ride with Dinner

Wild West Sunset Horseback Ride with Dinner

Meet your driver upon hotel pickup on the Las Vegas Strip to start your Wild West horseback riding adventure. Relax on the 45-minute drive to a horse ranch, where professional wranglers match you with a horse suitable to your skill level.

After a safety briefing, head out on an approximate 1-hour horseback riding tour through the southern Nevada desert, following your experienced guide who ensures your comfort at all times.

During the horseback trail ride, you’re surrounded by gorgeous mountains and Joshua trees, silhouetted against the sunset. As dusk descends, marvel at the orange glow under open skies and — if you are lucky — you may catch sight of bighorn sheep, road runners, jack rabbits and other wildlife native to the desert outside Las Vegas.

On your return to the ranch, you’re served up a classic country-style dinner. Dig into your choice of chicken or steak (vegetarian option also available) accompanied by baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls and a slice of good old-fashioned apple pie.

Conclude your evening with a cowboy (or cowgirl) campfire under the stars (weather permitting). Then relax on the return drive to your hotel with time to enjoy Las Vegas' legendary nightlife.

The tour was amazing!! It was wonderful to get away from the busy Las Vegas Strip for a few hours. The horse ride was serene and peaceful as the sun was setting. When we returned from the horse ride our dinner was ready. I definitely enjoyed the steak dinner. I would highly recommend this tour.

the activity exceeded expectations. The ride itself was almost 90 minutes, much longer than anticipated. Our guides and horses were very well trained. I'd picked the chicken from earlier reviews I'd read about the ride, but, should have taken the steak. The steak was much more tender. It was a real outdoor, western experience. I'd do it again with the same company. Oh yeah, the protective dogs were the silent stars of the show.

So glad we did this whilst in Vegas, it's a side you don't always get the opportunity to see! From our driver who picked us up to our tour guide, it was fab! The horses were very tame and the horse ride was longer than expected which was brill. My husband and I haven't ridden a horse in a good 8 years and some others had never ridden before, so was nothing to be afraid of. Would defo do this again! Was absolutely fantastic!!

excellent trip, relaxing and very pleasant. The guides are excellent at making sure the ride is thoroughly enjoyable even ensuring any nervous first time riders are put at ease. A must do trip especially if looking for something different.

Went last year on early morning tour, first time on a horse, which was awesome! Thought I'd try the sunset tour. Again fantastic! Great guide, Ceaser, and his dad were fantastic. After the trail had great Rustic BBQ (steak, beans, potatoes). Then did a bit of lasso practice. Recommended!

This trip was the best one we have ever had. All the people concerned were very professional, friendly and accommodating. After all the necessary paperwork that has to be read and signed when we got to the ranch we were matched with horses according to ability to ride and the weight the horses had to carry. We were given water to take on the ride and a holder which attached to the saddle....As we are have had our own horses and rode western we were given Whisky and Bullet who were excellent and a pleasure to ride. There were 3 Wranglers to look after us and give lots of information about the area, the local Native American Tribes and lots more. We were out for over an hour and a half and saw not only the beautiful sunset but a Cotton Tail rabbit and a Jack Rabbit. One man at the very end of the ride started to slip off his horse and the Wrangler was at his side in seconds to ensure he didn't fall off and hurt himself. The food was excellent. We had a salad starter, a choice of ribs, steak, fish or vegetarian for the main followed by the now famous apple cake! Nothing was too much trouble and the 45 minuet journey back to the hotel went very quickly with pleasant conversation all the way. Anyone thinking they may be too old to do this ride can think again. I am 62 and my husband is 75! We cannot recommend this ranch and trip highly enough.
