This was a fantastic trip. It was a small group and the wranglers were very good and helpful as we were all novice riders but we thoroughly enjoyed the ride sighting a rattlesnake at one point! Would definitely recommend this trip whatever your age or riding skills. The dinner that followed was surprisingly good as was the country and western entertainment supplied by the wranglers.
Had a brilliant afternoon at the ranch. The horses where great as was the staff. The evening meal was very enjoyable and worth every penny.
We'd done this tour before and enjoyed it so much we did it again.
The horses are very tame and docile. Perfect for first timers.
The 2 guys running the tour take care to partner everyone with a suitable horse.
We had nearly 2 hours of riding.
Arrived back to a nicely cooked steak.
Loved it all!
I want to give this 7 stars!! This was my favourite of all the experiences I did on this visit to America. Everything was superb. The pick up was prompt, we were given a full narration of the area we were travelling through. The ranch staff were incredibly welcoming and supportive of my husband's nerves about riding a horse. The ride was stunning and the horses were lovely - they are still horses though so and don't expect them to be perfectly obedient all the time! We encountered coyotes, rabbits, a mountain lion and a rattlesnake on our particular ride. The staff made sure we safely navigated our way around the snake which was, by all accounts, an usual sight. The after ride dinner was the best meal I had in America, so fresh and simple. It was amazing experience overall. A 'must do' for anyone visiting Vegas.
My daughter and I took this trip and had a great time, taking in the scenery and the lovely sunset over the canyon. Horses were very well behaved, which I appreciated as i've not ridden for 16 years! Saw a Coyote and rabbits and had a nice meal afterwards. I have one negative, there is no flushing toilet for riders at the ranch, and the portaloo in the heat wasn't particularly pleasant. Would certainly not let this distract you from booking this trip, just don't use the toilet!.
I booked this trip as something special for the last night of our 20 night USA tour and was not disappointed. The horseback ride was something we will never forget, so magical. The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to share their stories. The BBQ was lovely, the best bit of steak I've had in a long time - everyone in the party of 12 agreed! We just about had room for apple pie before the lasso lessons began. Thanks to all! Highly recommend.
We were picked up promptly and taken out to Bonnie Springs Ranch. We met our guides (Lydia, Robbie and Chris) and were soon matched up with our horses. We were first timers, but they treated us like old friends so we quickly settled into the saddle and enjoyed the trek. The scenery was beautiful - it was hard to believe we were only about half an hour away from Las Vegas! We were taken to the restaurant for dinner which had lots of options and the food was delicious and plentiful. There was karaoke the night we visited too which was great as we were entertained while we dined. Despite the few differences in our tour from that advertised (no barbeque food, no dessert and no campfire) we still had a great time and would definitely do this again if we ever return to Las Vegas.
My wife and I had the most wonderful time during our visit to Las Vegas. The Wild West Sunset Horseback Ride Dinner was one of the things we enjoyed the most. The pickup at Bally's was courteous and on time. Those who helped us at the ranch were polite and professional. The Scenery was more beautiful than promised. Not only did we have a beautiful Sunset - but the view of the moon rising at dark allowed for even more photos on our new camera. We found using Viator.com easy to use and will look forward to future tours by Viator.
This trip was wonderful and worth the money. We were fortunate that we were the only people on the horse ride and the lady leading us was so keen polite and helpful. After the trail we went to the restaurant where there was a Karaoke and all the locals entertained us with their fine voices. The meal served was huge and very tasty and served by a very helpful waiter. We would definitely do this trip again. My only downside was the initial pick up, which I attribute to simply a GB and USA misunderstanding in communication, so we were at the wrong location but the driver was very informative on the drive over to the canyon.
This was truly a highlight in our Vegas trip. Guides were wonderful. Would recommend this to anyone, regardless of how little experience you may or may not have with horseback riding. Very relaxing, very romantic. We did this on our honeymoon. Next time, we will do the breakfast ride. Five stars*****.
Everyone was great. Horses where very easy to ride, even for first time riders. Steak and chicken where very both very good, you will not leave hungry.
Everything about this was absolutely excellent. The range staff was awesome - a lot of fun. Ceasar was particularly fun to chat with during the ride. The ride itself was so much fun. When we reach the halfway point I was like...what, wait, we have to turn back already??? Learning about the land as we rode was great. The sunset, as expected was beautiful. The steak dinner was so very good as well as the campfire. Having the ranch dogs follow us during the ride was fun too. Then, at dinner, we were treated to having puppies run among our feet. This was so totally worth the price I would do it again without hesitation.
From pick up to drop off, jeff the driver is a star, as is all the staff and dog!
7 people in our party (family and friends) none of us horse riders, but an experience we will never forget. It made our holiday.
Great scenery, great horses but most important, great hosts.
Loved chatting round the camp fire, good luck with all your plans and hope to visit you again
