In a word "AWESOME"!!! We had a bit of trouble with the pick-up (being in the right spot...make sure you ask a lot of questions about the specific pick-up location). But beyond that the experience was one to remember. We had a great time...so much so that we would do it again. The people were great and the guys who took us out on the trail were just all around GREAT people (we couldn't has asked for better). The meal that we got was far better than I expected and let me tell you, "you didn't go away hungry". It was a long trip out to the ranch and it was a full evening so I would recommend trying to much after but as I stated "It is well worth it...We had a great time"!
We could not have had a better experience! What a great way to spend an evening outdoors and see the beautiful scenery Las Vegas has to offer! The tour guide James and the staff at the ranch were extremely friendly, patient and knowledgable about Las Vegas geography & history, which really added to the experience. After the ride, James cooked up a delicious steak dinner (along with some top-notch home baked apple pie) for the whole group to enjoy as we watched a breathtaking sunset. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Las Vegas area, especially animal / nature enthusiasts!
Our driver, John, who was also our chef for the evening was just superb. He was knowledgable and very welcoming; a great guy.
Caesar and his dad (our ranch guides) were wonderful too.
The horses were beautiful; I got Goliath to ride who was such a wonderful horse. Sunset was spiritual; would go back.
This trip was the best it's about 3/4 of an hour from the strip the people who run Wild West horseback rides where very helpfull and friendly . When I returne to Las Vegas I will book this trip again it's a trip you will neaver forget . Thanks nick Gray Bristol.
Fantastic trip from the beginning to the end. The guys, Robbie and his son Kane (sorry if this isnt the right spelling) were extremely entertaining. The horses were very well looked after and selected to the individual needs - first time rider and i actually felt like i know what i was doing)
The dinner was massive and very good.
Overall, this was def one of the highlights of our holiday! Thank you!
What a fantastic experience. This was booked for my partners 50th birthday as she likes horses and it was a highlight for her whole holiday. I even managed to rope a steer, albeit a steel frame with a metal steers head.
The bbq food was very nice too as was the stop at the native Indian store en route to bag some bargains
Excellent, the most enjoyable time I had in/around Las Vegas. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient guides, lovely horses, stunning scenery and a great meal at the end. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, even people who have never been near a horse.
A real treat of an experience away from the hectic world of Vegas. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a relaxing horse ride followed by a stunning sunset and BBQ - really enjoyable!
We had a fantastic trip. It was about a 45 minute journey to the ranch and then an hour and a half of horse riding, on some lovely scenic trails with the sun setting followed by dinner. The tour guides were lovely and helpful. We would recommend this to anyone.
A very enjoyable outing! Jaime and Cesar were perfect hosts. They coached first-time riders and were accommodating to all. The multi-national group (American, British, German and Argentine) melded together in the hospitable setting. Definitely recommend.
A great way to end our Las Vegas trip, this is a proper working ranch no gift shops here just a father and son team who take you for your trail ride which lasts a little under 2 hours, while out on the trail ride, Jeff the guide who picks you up and takes you back to your hotel cooks your meal while out on the ride and its a tasty steak as are the sides all finished off with a slice of warm apple pie and coffee, Jeff offered to stop off on way to Ranch if anyone wanted to buy alcohol for their meal, I should mention out of the 13 riders we had in our group 6 of them had never been on a horse before and they where pretty nervous but at the end of the ride they loved it and everyone agreed it was a highlight of their trip, be warned though we where all tired after we got to back to Vegas about 9:30pm
We had a fantastic time, from James the guide picking us up to returning back to the strip. James was the best guide, he was friendly and attentive the whole time, giving out water whenever we wanted. He cooked the entire meal for 12 people and it was great. We didnt expect much from the food! But it was all very good. The cowboys on the ranch, Ceaser and his dad were really good. They didnt rush anyone it all very relaxed. One young boy was nervous, they spent ages with him, they were very patient and done everything to make him feel at ease. The ride itself was great, it lasted about an hour and a half. It was very peaceful, the horses were all very well behaved. Seeing the sunset was a real bonus. The ranch was real, it was not just a commercial exercise, it was obvious they enjoyed it and loved the horses. This was the best choice, apparantly the breakfast and lunch rides are ata different place which go out in large groups of up to 50! With onky 12 in our group it was very personal. We would higly recommend this trip, it was very good value and we throughly enjoyed it from start to finish. We would definitely go again.
We really enjoyed it. The trail ride was about an hour and a half. When we got back dinner was ready and it was very good. I was a little afraid to do it because I have a broken arm, but I had no problems riding. They do sell cowboy hats which were needed because of the heat, but it was cash only. All in all it was great.
