The pass was good for 48 hours, the bus was across the street from where we docked. We arrived a day early due to bad weather, and the tour bus took us for a drive through the city. A big advantage to having a voucher with Viator is you don't have to worry about having euros. We just showed our voucher and we were ready to use the hop on hop off for 2 days.
Best way to see the city. The tour took you to all the famous and interesting sights. Bus stop was just outside our hotel. Very convenient...
Excellent way to see the whole city with the ease of jumping on and off buses.
Excellent tour made even better by the fabulous weather.
Easy to use and really convenient.
Enjoyed the tour. Had the same problem with this tour as with EVERY tour with hop on hop off through Europe. It is not clear where to catch the bus. No maps that can be seen are printed on the internet and often if there is a location listed- it is so general as to not be able to be found. I would not buy tickets in advance for any of the tours. Look up the tours locally and buy the ticket on the bus. There are several companies and you should go with the first one you find, not do a scavenger hunt for a bus in a strange city.
This tour was amazing, taking in all aspects of Lisbon. The price was very reasonable too.
Great way to see Lisbon without having to walk the hills. The city has some sites that can't be reached by walking, so this is the best way to see them. Validate the 48 hour pass early in the morning to get maximum use.
Took the Hop-on/Hop-off tour bus for 2 days. The best time to use these buses is first thing in the morning, since it's not as busy and things are alittle less hectic. The afternoon brings in a lot more people and crowds, the buses are more packed. Your paper voucher is all that's needed for the driver. In Lisbon vs. Madrid for instance, the driver is the only employee on the bus no other attendant. So you give your voucher to the bus driver at any bus stop you decide to hop-on. The main thing on the voucher is the BR booking reference code that he inputs into his handheld ticket device that will authorize/confirm the BR code with HQ. You then get a paper ticket printout as your ticket for the 2 days. The driver does not call out the upcoming bus stops, so you need to pay attention to where you are and the map that they give you also listen to the audio tour which helps you to identify locations on the map and where you are, so you know when to hop-off. Pretty simple. The bus routes do overlap, mainly at the Marques de Pombal Square and the train station to Cascais etc among others. The bus does stop for awhile at these two main stops to pickup/dropoff passengers and wait for people too. The Red route is the more popular and frequent route with more people and stops. The Blue route is less frequent, but does take you up the coast to where the Lisbon World Fair was held years ago. Great area to visit, alittle more modern looking area. Lisbon is really charming European architecture, with funiculars and street cars. Pretty cool. The buses give you a great overview of the city and you can decide where to spend most of your time. Highly recommend, great service. Would use again.

Excellent experience. Good narrative . Super staff.k
only way to see Lisbon but be aware that the Navigator monument stop is about 25 minute walk away but a lot enroute to see on foot. The queues are horrendous in August due to cruise stop offs and getting a seat on top is only a reality at main terminal hub. Do red route first then get onto the blue route back at the terminal 1 - if you are going to airport which was unexpected bonus. We always use hop-ons whichever city we are in but a detailed map prior to leaving was not available for this one - only a list which meant finding the stop for the Gulbenkian Museum was a bit trial and error but would not have missed it for the world - brilliant Lalique exhibit and IInternational art including Monet and pre-Raphelite gems. Queues for all the Belen attractions are incredible so start early and you will need the 2 days to see it all - really enjoyed the commentry aswell especially the addition of Fado on the track
cost actually included two different routes. We were unable to do both due to time restrictions as we were cruise passengers. We have used these viatour hop on - hop off tours several times. They are always worth the money. A good overview of the destination which gives options if you have time to take advantage of the transport and some special inclusions they offer.
Value for money, drivers very friendly ,and helpful great information on commentary.
Great bus tour!! See most of Lisbon , love it , will be back with this tour again
Liked the two routes and the two day pass.Being able to hop off and on, allowed one to visit chosen sites and then return to starting point at the end of the day
a great way to start a city tour.
the hop on hope off stops are located very effectivelly.
the rate is good and the city is great.
This was really good. Gave a good oberview of the main attractions and history of places along the way. I found it useful because I was only in Lisbon for two days. I would recommend getting this.
This tour was a great way of seeing most of the sites Lisbon has to offer and a few informative words from the audio guide :-)
