Your first stop is the world-famous pilgrimage site of Fatima, where 'Our Lady' appeared in 1917. You will have free time in Fatima to visit the Shrine, attend a mass if you wish and enjoy some lunch.
Just outside Fatima in Ajulstrel, you'll see the houses of the three shepherd children - Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta - to whom the vision of 'Our Lady' appeared.
Next stop is Batalha and its World Heritage-listed monastery. While in Batalha you will have free time to visit this 14th-century masterpiece of Portuguese Gothic architecture.
The tour continues to Nazare, a picturesque fishing village, which you will also have free time to explore.
Before heading back to Lisbon on this day trip into a bygone era, your last stop is Obidos. This fortified village of whitewashed houses and narrow streets has with a distinctly medieval atmosphere.
