This was a lot of walking, but well worth the time. The green wine and seafood lunch was awesome..

Paolo did a wonderful job. His knowledge of Lisbon's history and culture was well woven into the walking tour. We especially enjoyed the explanation of Lisbon's ethnic and racial diversity. The hidden gems he took us to were a treat unto themselves.

This tour is fantastic! My son and I loved Margarida. She had so much great information and took us to great little non-touristy places for food and drink and other art and historical sites. The food and wine choices were delicious. One of my favorite tours, ever. Margarida answered all of our questions - historical and current events. Super interesting and a pleasure to talk to and spend half the day with. Definitely recommend!

This tour was the best way to see the city in a short period of time. Our guide Paulo was interesting and so knowledge about Lisbon's history, culture and people. It was our favourite part of our stay in the city. Highlights were the tastings, the view of the city from across the river and the lesser-known parts of the city which we would not have thought to visit.

Margarita was an excellent guide. She took into consideration individual differences and requests whenever possible. The restaurants she chose for tastings were delightful and varied.
Why did we start and stop at different places? That's hard for newcomers to Lisbon.

We had a fascinating tour through the history, culture and cuisine of Lisbon thanks to our our excellent guide Margarida. The tour was just perfect even for those of us who had already been to Lisbon as Margarida takes you to the best hidden treasures of the city that you wouldn't find otherwise!

The guide was very knowledgeable, perfect English - loved every minute of the 4 hours, saw a lot, loved the food tasting - would do it again.

This tour was excellent. Paolo, our guide was so knowlegable and enthusiastic and spoke better English than we did. The group was small enough for every one to hear, ask questions and share the experience. It would be very useful to people staying in Lisbon as Paolo pointed out good types of places to eat(including hostels) and gave lots of tips on travelling in the city. Sadly we were on a cruise ship and left the same day. The tastings were delicious and and added an extra dimension, as we were told about the life style of the people. We covered the history and how this influenced the developement of the city. It was fascinating. Value for money, I should say so. We booked a three hour tour, it began at 10.30am and ended at 4.00pm. If you get Paolo cancel the rest of the day,but you will be armed with enough information to make the rest of your stay fabulous

Did you ever visit a new town and wished you had a good friend there who knew all the good places and who would take you there? That is exactly how we felt walking around with wonderful Margerida on the food and wine tasting tour. We visited Lisbon with a group of colleagues and really enjoyed this tour. We saw the best places and heard the best stories and tasted the best foods and wines. I can really recommend this tour to everybody and next time I visit a town, for sure I will try to find a tour like this! Thank Margerida, for being such a wonderful guide!

It was our fourth visit to Lisbon and we know the city reasonably well. However, the guide of our tour, Paulo, managed to provide a lot of interesting and useful information and led us to areas we did not know about. He had a deep knowledge of the city and its history, was very pleasant and had very good communication skills. His English was perfect. We really enjoyed the tour and will recommend it to our friends traveling to Lisbon.

We loved our walking tour, it was superbly guided by Sophia and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The only bit that could be missed is the grocery/fish market due to the area and that it was nearly closing, but it was probably a route to another area. This is a great way to get a feel for the city and its people, and of course a little of its food and wine!
