This was my first visit to Lisbon. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a long day but well worth the effort. Our guide, Andre was knowledgeable and amusing. We even shared the same taste in music! He took the time to introduce us to Fado music while we were driving between the different stops. My favorite part of the tour was the lunch stop at Nazire. We ate some really nice fresh fish washed down with Portuguese wine and beer. I would recommend this tour to anybody short on time and looking for an interesting variety of attractions to visit guided by top notch staff in a small group.
Very comfortable experience, our hats down to the driver/guide/entertainer,name is Pedro.
Saved us a lot of time and effort and the small group makes it very personable.Had a wonderfull time!
Our guide was excellent -- great knowledge of the local area with interesting tidbits and observations. His recommendation for lunch in Nazare was one of the best meals we had in Portugal. Enjoyed stops at Nazare and Obidos the most. We felt that the tour was well-paced with lots of time to fully appreciate the various stops. When it was foggy later in the day, the guide offered us options for the route back. Overall a very successful day.
This was a fabulous tour even more than we expected. The guide was very knowledgable and went out of his way to insure we had a great experience. The scenery was amazing also!
Enjoyed it so much and will definitely recommend it to my friends.
i really enjoyed the tour and the guide was very helpful and nice, everything went as planned and the areas visited were amazing.
The tour was fantastic. The driver/travel guide, Andres, was very efficient and has a good personality. We enjoyed Fatima, Nazare, Bathalha and Ovidos. It was full but the tempo was relaxed and unhurried. It is weel worth the fee!
There were six of us on this tour which made it very nice. Fatima was overwhelming. When we arrived mid-morning, 65,000+ people were there, an outdoor Mass was being celebrated, choir was singing, and more and more people kept arriving. It was a very moving experience. Nazare was good for lunch and we drove to the coast to the spot where surfers surf 40-foot waves at certain time of the year.
Our trip in September was a wonderful and rewarding experiance. Our captain / guide (Mr. Joel/John) was very professional, knowlegdeable and jovial...make the tour more relax and personal. Want to say a big Thank you to our guide. ERIC, Singapore.
Martine was a great tour guide. I believe he pointed out places along the way that he didn't need to tell us about but he did because he enjoyed being a guide. We loved all three of the towns including Fatima. Being Catholic we wanted to visit Fatima. It's very nice but definitely just for a quick stop. Luckily, we will able to sit through most of a mass that was going on in the outside chapel. Loved Obidos but unfortunately it started raining when we got there. A very quaint town! We bought the ginginha there which is like a cherry cello that is supposedly one of the best in all of Portugal. Just arrived home and can't wait to open it!
Thanks again Martine!
An excellent tour- covered many towns that one would probably not visit on ones own. Paced at the right level. Francisco our guide and driver was excellent and obliging when asked to go slightly off the route. A small group of 7 was a perfect number, who all got on well.
Great experience!!! I highly recommend Nadia for your next tour. She was professional, courteous and a lot of fun! We enjoyed ourselves during the tour.
The tour was totally worth it. Our guide Andre was really good. Have a lovely time.
