We did this tour our first evening in Lisbon and enjoyed it thoroughly. This tour was a wonderful way to get introduced to the central area of Lisbon and to sample various foods, wines, and liquors. We went to several establishments, we would have never entered on our own. Andre, our guide, was knowledgable and pleasant. The group was small, from several different countries and very compatible. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour!! We had a small group of 7 people plus the guide André, and it was absolutely amazing. We were taken around the city centre to taste the delicious wines and have small bites. The guide was giving us a lot of information in a perfect English. To me it was the highlight of my trip to Lisbon. Recommended!
Loved this tour. The guide was really knowledgeable and helpful. A great way to explore different parts of the city while trying delicious food and drink. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. A very nice pace with an outstanding tour guide. The small group was ideal which made for a very pleasant evening of wine and food sampling with "new "friends".
Not to miss when in Lisbon
Should be done as soon as you get to Lisbon
The best way to visit Lisbon and know what to consume and where to consume
Great experience, a friendly guide, yummi food and delicious wine :) A nice way to get to know a city.
Really enjoyed the tour. Great introduction to Lisbon's food and wine. Marta was a fantastic guide!
The group was 16 persons, but it was really a fantastic tour. The guide Claudia was highly professional. We'd visited a lot of interesting places, got a lot of information on the taste and traditions of Portugals. It was really a walk tour in one of the beautiful part of Lisbon.
We were in Lisbon for four days, and this tour gave us some good insights as to where to go for meals while in town. Nadia was informative and engaging, and she made us feel very welcome in her town. We sampled some excellent food and wine, while strolling through the Chiado district at a leisurely pace. The tour doesn't offer a large quantity of food, so we were still hungry for dinner afterwards, but no complaints. We left with a greater appreciation for the local fare.
Our tour guide was fantastic. She was knowledge about geology (important in Lisbon, history, art and foods at a deep level.
I really enjoyed this tour. It gave a great insight to Lisbon and its history. It also was very informative of the different foods and wines of the different regions. I would do this tour again.
Great tour just what we wanted. Explored and found some authentic bars and cafés. Plenty to eat and drink. Would highly recommend .
We arrived in Lisbon only an hour before our tour was due to start so were thrilled when Marta found US, wandering about, hoping that we had managed to find the right monument for meeting. Her English is fabulous and she loves her subject, which made for a warm and fun experience. In addition to information along the way she made sure to cater to individual interests, recommending restaurants and bars as well as the bi-weekly flea market to my shopping mad daughter. Although the tour was supposed to finish at 7.30pm, we were all still laughing and talking well past 10pm and I cannot recommend this tour enough!
would highly recommend this tour for an introduction to portuguese, more particularly from lisbon, food. the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful plus along the way, insider tips re lisbon were shared. we were also fortunate that the group that toured with us were great companions, guess the tour itself attracts foodies.
The food was great and we got to try all local produce and eat how the locals would eat. Our tour guide was very informative and very personable. This was my favourite tour on my whole trip to Portugal.
We took this tour on our first full day in Lisbon and since our trip focus was on food, this was perfect! Not only did we have the opportunity to taste some of the iconic foods of Lisbon, but had an excellent tour of the old city. Martha was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, very engaging and friendly. I recommend this to anyone wanting an insight into Lisbon through the story of its food.
This trip was great! It is recommended to do it on the first day in Lisbon, as from which you learnt where to get the good food and what is must try.
Vi hadde en flott tur gjennom gatene i Lisboa med prøvesmaking av ulike spesialiteter fra Portugal. Guidene var kunnskapsrike og snakket godt engelsk. Absolutt til å anbefale en slik tur for andre som besøker byen.
took this tour on June 27 and really enjoyed it. The tour guide was really informative and gave us lots of great tips on places to eat and also told us lots of history about Portugal.
Fun and informative tour. Marta did a great job keeping our rowdy group engaged.
Excellent food, drinks and guide and good companions. Fun was had by all.
Of the 3 tours we took during our vacation this was by far the best. Pauolo was knowlegeable about the culture and history of food in Lisbon. We visited many of the restaurants, cafes and shops again during our time in Lisbon and enjoyed every one of them. Great idea for your first night in Lisbon. Lots of walking, and great food at a reasonable price.
