If you do one thing in Lisbon ... do this! Fun, factual, Daniel is a great guide and the sidecar is comfortable, warm and cosy. My husband (for whom this was a surprise), loved it. His words ... 'BRILLIANT' :)
We have taken many tours over the years. This is far and away the best!! Daniel took us all over Lisbon and explained so much of the history and importance of the sites we were seeing. Even stopped for one of the famous tarts. Can't be topped. Thank you Daniel.
My 85 year old mom was excited to visit Lisbon but unable to negotiate the steep and uneven streets-she did the sidecar tour and had a wonderful time.
I have spent a lot of time in Lisbon and have taken many different tours. This was by far the best! Daniel was prompt, courteous and oh so knowledgeable. Time flew so quick as Daniel covered so much of Lisbon and Belem. Despite many road closings, due to a marathon, Daniel timed the schedule perfectly and we were not affected by the closings at all. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
Great way to see Lisbon with all its narrow streets and lanes. Had a very special day. Beautiful city! Daniel is a great guide.
This has got to be one of the best tours I have taken. This is a must for everyone visiting Lisbon. You not only get a wonderful tour guide (Daniel) who is knowledgeable, Friendly and attentive, but you also get to visit places you most definitely would not have come by on your own. You will be getting on and off the bike plenty of times and enjoying some of the beautiful historical places in Lisbon such as Alfama, Belem, Largo de Carmo etc. We did the tour in day 12, Monday 2014.
This was one of the best ever had!
Daniel the guide was knowledgeable about historic sites, gastronomy and Lisbon in general. We enjoyed it tremendously and will repeat for sure.
This is an excellent tour. Daniel knows a great deal of Lisbon history and explains it well and in an interesting way. His English is very good.
What a great experience. Although the skies looked threatening, it never stopped us from having a wonderful trip in and around Lisbon. We usually use the jump on/jump off buses whenever we visit a new location but this has now changed our preferred way of seeing the sites. This mode of transport allowed us to navigate along tight and twisting streets. Also, having a friendly, knowledgeable guide with a sense of humour and pride for his city and country made for a most invaluable experience. We rate this tour as 10 out of 10. I had such a lovely time during the first tour round Lisbon that I immediately booked a second one to visit the area outside the city! Daniel was a fantastic guide and imparted a lot of knowledge about Lisbon and Portugal. It felt more like being chatted to by a friend rather than the usual tour bus speeches which was nice. He knew a lot about Portugal and it's history as well as all the best places to see and really seemed to enjoy the tour as much as I did. It was nice having the flexibility to spend as much time as I wanted at each stop. The weather was unusually atrocious but Daniel had a car as backup so I didn't get soaked and was able to enjoy the whole trip. It really was worth every penny - I just wish there was a Daniel in every city
Fantastic tour, really friendly, helpful driver/guide. Highlight of our trip.
