The best ride Juliane our guide was such a good driver and took us around the beautiful sites in Sintra, drove to Cabo Da Roca the most western point in Europe, we had a wonderful lunch in one of the sea food restaurants and drove through the beautiful city of Cascais and then to Lisbon where we stoped at two more interesting spots. A great trip.
Highly recommended. We had a minor issues with the exhaust from the VW but once the roof was open everything was ok.
This is one sensational way to see not just Liboa itself but the magnifacent countryside that's all within a 20 kilometer distance from the city. Our Guide and Drive Ricardo went out of his way to show us a area he clearly loves and knows like the back of his hand. Magnificent scenery, historic landmarks, geographical wonders--just amazing how much is packed into 9 1/2 hours. I cannot say enough good things about this touradventurehistory lessonfunindividual attentionit's just you. This is one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. Do not miss it.
one of the best days of my life!
It worth every single penny .. I went with Ricardo .. he is an amazing guy with a good personality .. I felt like I'm having a tour with my friend .. this is a must if you are in Lisbon ..
Amazing tour with Ricard! He was flexible and accommodated our requests. He takes excellent pictures as well.
This was JUST a lot of fun. The guide was excellent. We actually had people taking photos of us as we were travelling through the city and around. Highly recommended!!!!
We did this tour on our second day in Lisbon and it's a great and fun way to see the city. Our drivers Luis and Joao turned up bang on time at our apartment in funky pink and purple restored VW's and we set off on a tour of the city which lasted 4 hours. The drivers were very accommodating and stopped wherever we wanted whilst also telling us about the history and sites that are worth a visit. It was great fun and the cars certainly raised interest around town with people waving at us along the way. If you want something a bit different from the regular tours you should definitely do this. Thanks Luis and Joao for a fun afternoon!
We absolutely loved our tour and our guide Luis. We did the full-day tour and we were picked up right outside our flat rental in Lisboa. We started in Sintra and then drove along the coast to Cascais and Belém. Luis made sure we understood where we were going and always asked if there was something else we preferred to see instead. We trusted his recommendations and we weren't disappointed! We had a choice of places to have lunch, we opted for the traditional Portuguese style restaurant and it was delicious! We ended the tour with some porto wine and pasteis de Belém yum! in the park near the Torre de Belém. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if it's your first time to Lisboa.
The tour was great. It felt like we were led around the city by a friend. Sintra was beautiful and the drive along the coast was impressive. The day we went on our tour it was a little cold. Fortunately our driver packed a blanket it and it made the weather more tolerable. Overall a great tour.
We had such a great morning , only problem was finding the shop as we were not told they would meet us at the boat .
Worth spending the money on this tour and our guide was fantastic Roué was extremely helpful and his knowledge of Portuguese history was very good .
Thank you for making our first visit to Lisbon such a memorable one .
This was our first tour me and my husband ever booked, and also our first time in Lisbon. We unfortunately did not have cell phone or internet service and couldn't have the driver contact us or vice versa. After a little confusion on the pick up area we finally met Igor who had such a warm demeanor even after all the confusion. The mix up caused a half hour delay in our tour, but Igor went above and beyond to accommodate us, and what we wanted to see on the tour. He asked what was our points of interest to see while in Lisbon and we expressed that we trusted his judgement and off we went for the ride in a beetle with much style! He took us to SIntra which was such a treat! Upon it already being a beautiful day for a convertible ride in our beetle, we were also able to really soak in the beauty of SIntra and its picturesque landscape it has to offer. Igor took us around Sintra and we able to look at some beautiful view points and as well see the castle and palaces surrounding the city. We stopped to have a pastry and drink then off we went to do more exploring around Caxias and Cascais and surrounding areas. The drive all around the city of Sintra and Lisbon from Igor was something me and my husband will never forget. The ride along the beach and breathtaking views all over Lisbon with the glass of Port overlooking the most Western tip of Europe was so memorable. We had such a good time that we didn't even feel like we had a tour guide, but yet a new friend we spent the afternoon with. Thanks Igor for really indulging us into the culture and beauty of Portugal. We plan to return soon!

Great tour and the guide was awesome and even looked up lots of information we just casually asked Viator about. The weather was poor but he found other places to go and see and was full of knowledge. Wonderful experience. Barbara Lifshen
My husband and I had an incredible time soaking in as much of Lisbon as possible as we possibly could during a 12 hour stop over before our one year anniversary trip to Spain. We loved our driver Miguel. He spoke great English, was very friendly, interesting and knowledgeable and greeted us with an anniversary gift from his artist girlfriend upon our arrival which was extremely thoughtful. He took us on an amazing tour of the coast and took us to Quinta da Regaleira, a must-see estate located near the historic center of Sintra (a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), and then on to his favorite "locals" place for an authentic Portoguese homemade lunch which stared out the pictureque Mediterranean and the lighthouse which is the Western most point in Europe. I wish we could see every European city this way. The only downside was that the car we rode in (I think it was a '69 VW Beetle) really needed new brake pads. The car squealed a lot which was a little painful on the ears but a small price to pay for the most incredible day ever. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR.
I had a great time during my Private Tour in Lisbon and Sintra. Hugo was a very good company and very professional, he took me to wonderful places to see, we had lunch in a beautiful place by the sea and the weather was perfect. It is worth taking the car to get to see these amazing places since there is hardly any other possibility to reach them.
This was the best part of our Spain and Portugal trip. Joao was fantastic!!! He was knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour and Joao for your guide ! Loved it!
Luis is tooooo lovely. Trip is fantastic!! Can't finder a better way to tour Lisbon, especially if you only have 1 day! This is the only way! Company should offer more such type of products (convertible car with super nice guide) in other destinations
The only way to see Lisbon! Even tho the weather was not so good, the driver did a great job of showing us around. Much better than a tour bus as you can spend your time in the places you choose. I only wish this option was available in more cities! Would do it again.
The tour guide was great, very knowledgable and a super safe driver! It felt like a custom tour, beacuse it was! We wanted a couple spefic items and he helped us find them. I'd sure like to see you offer more of these very small group tours!!
The tour was unbelievably fantastic and totally exceeded our expectations. Not only did the tour accurately reflect the brief but our driver was awesome. Luis went above and beyond to ensure we had a terrific day, saw all the sites, drove us with ease through the traffic and looked after us - even scaring off some pick pockets. Luis was waiting by the ship for us and made us welcomed and comfortable immediately. My family and I had a truly fabulous day and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a personnel styled tour and loves the feel of the wind in their hair.
I would highly recommend this tour. It is a unique and fun way to see Lisbon and surrounding areas. We took the full day tour and saw Lisbon, Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and drove through Cascais. Our guide, Nadia was knowledgable, fun, and very accommodating. We couldn't have had a better introduction to local life. She also gave us many recommendations for great restaurants and other sites. All that we we tried were fantastic.
We enjoyed our private tour on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable on this day. It was unseasonably cold and windy, with rain mixed in, as well. The Beetle was a sturdy old VW from the '70's, with approximately 500,000 miles on it. It was not the most comfortable ride in the world, and the windows did not quite meet. So, the wind and sometimes sand blew right through the car, or so it felt. But, we had a really nice guide, Jaoa. He did everything he could to make it a pleasant day. We enjoyed our trip to Sintra, though the restaurants that Jaoa was planning to take us to were closed. So, we found another impromptu restaurant for lunch, which turned out to be very good. If the weather had been better, the tour would have been more enjoyable, but that was nobody's fault. I would recommend this tour.
Our guide Sonia took great care of us, even bringing sun screen for us. Please note, this is more of a tour of Sintra, Cabo de Roca, and Cascais then it is of Lisbon, which is great in and of itself. However, you won't have the time to see the cathedral and museums of Lisbon, so plan on doing that separately.
We opted to have lunch at a restaurant right off the ocean and the view was great. However, the food was very expensive and it ate into a good hour of our time. If I were to do it over, I'd just grab a bite to eat off of a food vendor or buy something to go from any one of the numerous little food shops in Sintra.
