Continue to Sintra and have lunch at a local restaurant (included). Then, enjoy free time to explore the village at your own pace, see the colorful houses, visit the Sintra National Palace, or simply relax by the waterfront.
Hop on a tramcar and admire views of the Portuguese countryside on the journey to the Colares, a small town known for the quality of its wine. Learn interesting facts about Portugal's wine industry from your guide as you wander around this charming town.
Continue your journey along the colorful Cascais Bay to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe. Stop at the dramatic Hell's Mouth cliff (Boca do Inferno), which offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Guincho Beach, famous among surfers for its strong winds and long-tail waves.
Resume the drive along the picturesque Estoril Coast and enjoy a panoramic views of the Casino Estoril, one of Europe's biggest casinos, believed to be where Ian Fleming (the author of the James Bond series) developed the idea for Casino Royale.
After your tour, admire the beautiful green colors of the Portuguese countryside on your way back to your Lisbon hotel.
Note: The tramcar journey is only available from April to October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Outside those dates, enjoy a sightseeing tour by bus.

A great trip. Just the right amount of touring vs on our own, shopping, etc. Very Knowlegeable tour guide and the driver was impressive on those winding toads up to the Pena Palace !
