The Fado Show was at high quality and the restaurant refined, with delicious meals and very good serving. The guide - Mihaela - was very good for Lisbon by night.

With booking on the internet, we were concerned and Not knowing what to expect. From the moment Miguel picked us up to the time he dropped us off this tour proved to be beyond our expectation. Miguel was exceptional, the Lisbon city tour was very well planned and truly provided a wonderful oversight of what Lisbon is all about. Going thru some of the districts was like going back in time. Our last stop was the Fado dinner and show. fantastic meal and show. the restaurant served a great meal, wine was flowing and the desert to die for. Service was impeccable the folk singers were fabulous with heartfelt ballads. Would highly recommend this tour.

ENJOYABLE TRIP OF PARTS OF LISBON THAT WE HADNT SEEN BY DAY WITH OUR GUIDE PEDRO WHO GAVE US A DETAILED AND HISTORICAL INSIGHT INTO THE OLDER PARTS OF THE CITY ,ALFAMA TOLD US WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FADO SHOW AT "guitar guitar" WE HAD 3 COURSE MEAL WITH WINE WHICH WAS QUIET NICE THE SINGERS SANG FOR A HALF AN HOUR THEN TOOK A BREAK FOR ANOTHER HALF SO AS TO GIVE PEOPLE A CHANCE TO EAT, LIGHTS WERE DIMMED WHEN THE SINGING BEGAN LOVELY EXPERIENCE DIDNT STAY TOO LATE OUR GUIDE PEDRO CAME BACK TO COLLECT US AND BRING US BACK TO OUR HOTEL. We chose this tour since we wanted to experience true Fado in Lisbon without having to find our way to a venue in the Alfama and back to the hotel on our own late at night in a strange city. We were not disappointed. The five singers each did a four song set singers and along with their accompanists were exceptional. The restaurant food was tasty, probably as good as we could expect for typical local cuisine with very generous pouring of Portugese wines. The only negative would be the van tour before the Fado show. The van and guide were about an hour late so we had a rushed, drive-by tour of many interesting sites with only a few stops and photo ops before we had to hurry to get to our restaurant for the start of the Fado show.

Our driver (Nuno) was great and gave us an excellent tour. The fado performance at the restaurant was good. However, the food was unimpressive and not properly cooked. The meat in my dish was hard to eat. This was a disappointment, considering how accessible and affordable great food is in Portugal.

We were picked up from the hotel and taken on a fantistic trip round Lisbon and surrounding area for about 1 1/2 hours, our guide from cooltours was first class and showed a real passion for his city. The Fado show was in the old town in a typical old restaurant with lots of atmosphere, the singers and guitar players were good but the food which were included in the tour price were not up to an acceptable standard and spoiled the over all experience, we would have been much better off if we could have ordered from the a la carte menu.

Evening drive around our before show wasn't really necessary. Fado show was nice and the singer's were excellent.

Fado show and dinner were delightful! Driving nite tour -- underwhelming. No chance to stop to take any pictures. Guide seemed to be in a hurry to drop us off for dinner and then in a hurry to pick us up and return us to hotel.

From the moment we were picked up on time we knew it would be good. The guide had a genuine interest in his country,city and Fado music.The show had great meaning and depth to the performance.

The entertainment was great, the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and obliging. It says that you will be picked up at 7.30 but the contact person told me that it was meant to be 8.30. The driver and guide were very friendly and companionable. We did this on our first evening in Lisbon and it is great for the atmosphere and giving you an over all impression
