Excellent tour, and brilliant tour guide who was very informative. Glad I went on this tour and not tried to do it myself.
Fernando our guide and Anna our driver were wonderful! Highly recommend.
This was an excellent tour in a small van and well worth the cost. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. We are looking forward to visiting Lisbon again.
Magnificent! Mysterious! Fascinating! And the guide, Artur, a very very good one, was wonderful.
Very much recommend this tour. You get to see so much in just one day. All three palaces are amazing and interesting. You get about an hour and a half free time in Sintra to have lunch and do some shopping. When we went to the first palace it was raining and really windy, but worth the trip to the top. Our tour guide was patient and very friendly. They also picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Do this tour if you can.
Great value and with a fantastic quide, kept the whole day interesting and although he must use the same jokes all the time they still came across as sincere.
Again a great guide with personality and fun, make the day.
What a great day! There was a lot to see and learn. Francisco is smart, personable and funny. The palaces are beautiful. The lunch recommendation (in Sintra) was quite good.
Wonderful day! Great places to visit, nice group of people, enough time available to explore. Francisco, our guide, incredibly knowledgeable, respectful and funny.
This tour was terrific. We visited 3 wonderul places in the same day (Unesco heritages), it was confortable and plesant by bus. The guide tour spoke in 4 language, and he was nice, funny and kind with all of us. I suggest this tour for everyone is visiting Lisbon and its surroundings!
I wanted to see castles and palaces and boy, did I!! We had a full day of history, art, architecture, and fashions all very clearly explained by our knowledgeable guide. We had a small group so it was easy to hear her and she took good care of us. We had about an hour and a half for lunch on our own and I would advise you to try the Portuguese cuisine! Octopus salad sounds questionable, but I loved it!! I will admit, three sites in one day is a bit much, especially as we had a very hot afternoon, but if this is your one shot and you want to see a lot of history, go for it!
The small group Sintra Royal Palaces tour was a pleasant, relaxing tour away from hectic Lisbon. Anna was a great tour guide; informative without being boring; and considerate of the need for restroom breaks and picture taking. The three palaces were very different and the 1 1/2 hour lunch/shopping break in Sintra was delightful. Who knew you could make cork into purses and even soft ties.?
Our tour guide was informative and helpful. The castles were beautiful, each one unique. It would have been nice to have even more free time to do more exploring in the town of Sintra.
The tour is excellent and highly recommended.
We had a problem at the beginning of the tour with our guide, who left us before the entrance of the Pena Palace and entered to the Palace with the rest of the people in the tour. We were only 8 people in the tour and she missed 2 people at the front gate for 5 minutes when we arrived to the palace and she didn't care or noticed. We had to ask for permission to going inside the Palace without our tickets to find her. When we found her, she apologized for the inconvenience.
After the bad beginning, the rest of the tour was excellent.
