A friend had recommended this tour and I'm so glad she did! It's perfect for a family, no matter the ages. Tour is completely tailored to your requests, thoughts and interests. I think our driver's name was Steve (wish I'd written it down!). He was wonderful!! We were there right at the end of July when London was absolutely crammed with people. He showed us many of the sights we would not have been able to see and he took lots of family pictures for us! It's a treat to have all three of us in the same picture. The other great thing is that he told us how to get places by a 'less crowded' route and he also gave us tips on when was best to visit some of the sights. He ended the tour by dropping us off at the Sherlock Holmes Pub for a nice 'local' lunch. A real treat!
Our driver was very personable and we had a good time. We just ended our 3 weeks of Scotland, Ireland,
England and Wales. It was nice not being on a coach and getting out for a walk at different places.
Fantastic, the cab driver had so much knowledge and took us where ever we wanted I go . Would recommend this to everyone. Sounds expensive, but worth every penny.
It's London, what's not to love?! It was a wonderful day with a fantastic, friendly guide. I'd highly recommend it.
Loved this tour. Our cab driver was were will informed and answered all out questions easily. Best tour we took in London and tied Versailles tour in Paris.
Terry was fun, well-informed, thoughtful and caring. We hail from Beverly Hills and felt our English cousins really cared to share the history and grandeur of their great monarchy with us. We would do it again.
This was beyond a doubt the finest opportunity to see London that exists. When we were done with this tour, the value far outcast the cost. We were able to see the oldest hat shop in London as well as Winston Churchill's cigar shop and the "birthplace" of tennis- a small yard where monks batted back and forth. To see the birthpalce of Queen Elizabeth ( a small apt.) and the history behind all of these places make it a must. Our driver was straight out of a history book with the most pleasant personality you could get. He adjusted to my 12 year old son by relating "Harry Potter" places and then to my interests as well. All of these came with the primary places one would want to see as well- Buckingham Palcae, Westminster Abbey, etc. Thank you so much for the great vacation! Marty Mitchell
