great trip , well managed by tour leader ,Glen, well informed and good fun
The tour leader Glen was very cheerful, on time and knowledgeable. The trip was great, no issues ,no problems ,enjoyed it very much, better than expected.
Such a wonderful 2 days spent enjoying this serene and peaceful part of England. Lush green rolling fields with Daffodils popping up everywhere as is Spring. The villages visited out of picture books with magnificent stone buildings. Great thatched hedging along the roadways. The Hotel Corinium in Cirencester so traditional and welcoming. Visiting Oxford and Bath you were given ample time to enjoy the towns and feel the ambience. A very comfortable 16 seater Mercedes van offered terrific viewing as you were up high. Ambrose our guide/driver very good. Very good value for money...
Great tour with a great guide. Fantastic landscapes of Cotswolds, Bath is a very historic town. Money well spent if you don't have enough time to do it on your own.
A great tour! I had the same guide as a previous tour which made the experience extremely easy. A very relaxed tour with plenty of time to look at my own pace but still packed a lot in.
This was the highlight of our trip to England in October. Our tour guide, Barney, was incredible! He was friendly, informative but gave us time to explore on our own. My Mom and I enjoyed Christchurch in Oxford and the Roman Baths in Bath. We had several hours in Oxford and several hours in Bath. The bed and breakfast was great!
I booked this tour for my 70 year old dad and his friends, who wanted a little road trip round the heart of England in between Rugby World Cup games. They had a fabulous time! Many thanks to the chatty and informative tour guide. Small numbers, so it felt like a very personal service. Really excellent!
Tour was really accommodating for what we wanted to see. Weather turned really rainy so on the last day we went to Windsor for the afternoon and it was a perfect addition to the tour. Barney was very knowledge and entertaining. We had a small group, only 4, but everyone was really great. Great value for money, lots of freedom what I wanted to do once we arrived to the town. Good taster tour of the English country side.
Very good tour. Driver and Guide were very good and informative and kept us all happy.
Great tour, visited some beautiful places and had enough time in each place to get a taste, comfortable and clean mini-van and Barney our guide was great. I would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Ambrose, was very well informed and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. There was only one other person on the tour with my husband and I, so we all stuck together. It was a great way to see the countryside and learn about its history.
I loved the small villages and scenery. In each place you are left to explore for yourself which is nice if you don't want every bit of the tour planned and scheduled. And the tour guide was very nice and informative.
This was a great tour, that we all really enjoyed it. Kevin our driver and guide was terrific!
I was the only one on the tour so I basically had a 2 day private bus. I got to go wherever I wanted and the driver was fully accommodating. Had a great time. The overnight stay in the Cotswolds was brilliant.
The guide was great the B and B was excellent and even though the itinerary was tweaked due to traffic issues it was still brilliant and definitely a must do.
This was probably the best tour for the money, our tour guide Kevin was very nice, we stayed at a bed and breakfast which was great, with great food and very nice country looking room. Bath, Cotswolds and Oxford were fantastic. Great great tour. Thanks Kevin
We saw so much in a short period of time...excellent guide and driver. What a great way to maximize the experience.
Amazing tour! Breathtaking landscapes, picturesque towns full of history, and a great tour guide - Barney - who made the trip fun and learning.
Hubby and I enjoyed the tour. Our driver and guide Barney was everything you could ask for -- informative, entertaining, humorous, friendly, patient, helpful. The B and B we stayed in at Cirencester was lovely. It's nice that the max. per tour is 16pax. Very exclusive. I highly recommend Rabbie's.
This tour met my expectation and was a good side trip out of London to get a little taste of how it feels to live in small villages. The guide (Peter) was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The coach was very clean. I'd definitely go with this tour provider again for their other offerings if I happen to be there.
We have booked tours through Viator a number of times and will do so again in the future because we have always had excellent experiences! This one was no exception with every aspect pretty much as advertised; i.e., small group (we had 13 plus the driver/guide), very nice mini-bus, locations matched the itinerary, accommodations were great, and the guide/driver was very good (he just talked a lot and we got more than enough information and history!). We recommend this tour with no hesitation!
The tour with Steve, our guide/driver, was everything we hoped for. The Ivy House in Cirencester definitely gets 5 stars. The only suggestion would be to shorten the time in Bath or Oxford to allow for an hour in Cirencester, a true Cotswold town, when it is open. Unfortunately, we arrived around 6PM and left at 9AM the next day. Bath and Oxford are so crowded and full of chain store shops.
This was our first trip to the UK and this tour was the perfect way to see the beautiful English countryside over a 2 day excursion. Kevin was a very competent and entertaining tour guide. We would highly recommend these tours not only because of our amazing tour guide, but also for its small tour busses (16 passengers max) which make for a very relaxing tour with easy transitions in and out of the destinations. We loved every second of this trip!
Fantastic trip. Great tour director and fantastic being in a small coach
