Lots to see but it is a long day.

The tour was combined with a three day tour, which meant that there was not enough time in Ypres to visit the town itself and in particular the Menin gate. Those on the three day tour had hours to explore these places, but the one day tour had 15 minutes out of the whole day. If a company offers a one day tour, it could make sure that enough time was spent at significant places like Ypres. Perhaps we could have skipped the German cemetery, which was OK for balance, but Ypres was more interesting. So make the one day tour more interesting and don't combine it with the three day tour. Oh, and I needed better directions for meeting the tour at Lille train station; I almost missed it altogether because the directions I was given said to exit the station rather than to meet the group inside the station.
