OK, talk about following the footsteps of Jack the Ripper! We walked so much, and I feel we got a REAL tour of the 'darkside' of London - back streets, old markets - it was absolutely fantastic! We felt like we were back in time trying to find clues as to who Jack the Ripper was. As the sun set and the night crept in, we started to get really scared and felt like we were in a movie--a great experience. Loved it!

The guide was very good. He took us to each of the murder scenes and explained in detail what had happened. Of course, the sites have changed from what they originally were, but it was interesting all the same.

We paid too much for this. You can pick up these tours when you get into London for less. We were disappointed in this tour as the information told to us we already knew. Plus our guide, rather than making it intriguing or suspenseful, gave everything from his point of view and his based on his own research. He requested we did not tape the tour as he held copyright over his "own" research spoken to us in this tour. He would even stop talking if he thought you were taping something. He did have with him a plastic folder with images from the time, however in the street lighting it was hard to see and if you were not in the first row of people, you had no chance of seeing it anyways.

I feel like I paid too much to see too little.
