As an agent working for MI6 (a secret section of the British government) Bond was embroiled in politics, although he seemed to care little for it. Still, where better to learn about his fictional work than Westminster? The beating heart of British politics boasts government buildings a plenty, and many of them took center stage in films like Skyfall. See countless buildings used in the films and explore the secret bunkers where much-loved Bond characters, like his boss ‘M,’ hid.
After 2.5 hours on the trail of James Bond, your tour finishes near Vauxhall Station in the center of town.
I am a Bond 007 fanatic and this tour was great! It's a walk tour so, bring tennis shoes. Guide was super knowledgeable about the locations and history concerning secret codes in the bond movies!! While on the tour, we stumbled upon 3 movie sets during filming!! You cannot be a Bond fan, visit London and not take this tour!!
The tour guide, Louis was quite knowledgeable and very entertaining with the information he had on James Bond and his movies. The issue we had with the tour was that you literally covered a large territory walking with no resting other than the few minutes you are at the location he talks about. We would walk 15 minutes to a movie location. Louis would talk about it 2-3 minutes and we would walk another 20 minutes to the next location. The weather was quite warm and the movie sets or locations of the specific buildings were quite far apart. This is a very physical tour. Definitely not for persons with difficulty walking for long periods of time.
I would recommend making the tour shorter or add more sights that are closer together. We dropped off at the end as I was overheated.
