Very nice tour, Kevin our guide was insightful and clear! We did have a problem with one passenger who didn't appreciate the lack of time spent at Dover. I liken these tours [as a chef] to tapas, a little taste, it's not an all you can eat affair, hire a car and do it yourself if you have a lot of time!
This tour allowed the right amount of time to see each attraction without feeling extremely rushed. Our tour guide was pleasant and considerate of the people taking the tour. We enjoyed the tour of Leeds Castle and did go through the hedge maze in the back! Canterbury Cathedral was wonderful and the town was a mixture of old school charm and modern stores. We opted to do lunch on our own and were glad we did as there was plenty of time and lots of choices available. The Cliffs of Dover was a quick stop at the beach with views of the cliffs. We were glad to have taken the tour and felt it was a good value.
We were with Evans And Evans tours and had the absolute best tour guide, Lesley and coach driver, Mark. Even though it was pouring buckets of rain most the day these two made the trip very enjoyable. I picked this tour because this tour returned to Victoria which most use the boat ride back. I will certainly use Viator again and Evans and Evans Tours.
It was a lovely day. My husband and I enjoyed a lot all informations from the guide. It was a history class.
Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and had interesting things to tell along the way. The Leeds Castle surroundings are just amazing (we were lucky and had nice weather). Canterbury is a beautiful town and the guided tour of the magnificent Cathedral was really worth it. I learnt so much about England’s history!
We had a great day! Our tour guide was very sweet and the most knowledgeable guide ever! Leeds Castle was stunning, the White Cliffs of Dover was very beautiful and the Canterbury Cathedral spectacular, our guided tour definitely made the whole difference, highly recommended!
Large group, big bus--very well led by Monica, a charming Brazilian who loves English history and speaks very well with all the relevant facts and more. The timing was just about right--tho would always want more for shopping! Pick up in the morning was an amazingly well organized process.
Very nice day tour. Well orgnised-three nice places in Kent. The tour guaid is very responsible in both English and Japaness.
Excellent day trip outside of London. The grounds surrounding the castle are beautiful. Canterbury Cathedral is amazing! And although only a short stop at Dover it was amazing to see the Cliffs of Dover. Our guide was excellent, very friendly and funny.
Good amount of time at each stop, so it was a well-structured tour. Tour guide Monica was very good. The pick-up at the hotel and then drop-off at Victoria Coach Station was confusing - maybe this should just be explained on the website. Well-priced for what we saw.
Had a wonderful time and the tour guide was amazing. Would have liked a little more time in Dover, however I understand this tour is already very long. We were lucky enough to see France. Wanted to sail over there and touch it. Maybe next time.
Great tour. We went to everywhere as planned and the tour was done in a timely fashion. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
Fantastic value for the money; nice schedule, neither too busy and fast nor too slow and pedantic. Our tour guide, Chrissey, was first class all the way. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was fantastic. We had a great tour guide who really knew what he was talking about and seemed genuinely interested in the places. We especially liked Canterbury, the cathedral is absolutely amazing. I would also recommend the lunch stop in Canterbury
The tour was with Evan Evan tours and we had the best time! Kevin was our tour guide and he was awesome. He had a loads of information for us and lots of funny stories! We did a couple of tours on our trip and this by far was my favourite! We didn't feel rushed and we truly enjoyed this awesome tour
The sights are amazing, but too little time to actually relax and enjoy. The Guide was incredible nice.
The weather could not have been more spectacular and the tour guide was great. She was informative and respected everyone's needs to sometimes do things on their own. The situation at the Victoria Station Bus terminal was a bit hectic, but I am not sure how that could be changed. Would would have loved to walk through or visit Dover Castle while at Dover, but understand there was just not enough time. The family had a great experience and would recommend this tour to all.
This was our first visit to London and I wanted to see a bit outside of the city. This was a perfect tour-
Our tour guide Sheila was extremely informed about the sites on our tour and was very entertaining.
The castle was incredible and we really enjoyed Canterbury-wish the stay could have been longer there.
Wonderful tour. Leeds Castle and Canterbury were beautiful. Dover was just a brief 15 minute stop where we could see the cliffs from a distance but all together this tour was well worth it.
This was a great tour. We'd planned the bus trip to be a relaxing final day in the UK and the trip was perfect. Our guide, Mel, was very personable, knowledgeable, and upbeat the entire time. We enjoyed his running commentary between the scheduled site stops as traveling out of London proper to see the countryside was one of our reasons for taking the tour.
Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral were simply unbelievable. Being from the US, the ability to view architecture that has stood for over ten centuries was awe inspiring.
We already have and will continue to refer friends to Viator for worldwide tour options. Thank you Mel and Viator for your hospitality.
