This was hands down the best musical I've seen to date!! A must see when in London!!
Could have skipped the dinner it wasn't tasty the service was horrible and unorganised.
As usual fabulous show, great songs and cast. Wonderful amtosphere. Got tickets through viator, rear stalls restricted view sat down, the restriction was the circle roof over the seats so we couldn't see the very top of the curtain/stage but you can see the whole of the floor of the stage. Only meant that once or twice we couldn't see the actor on the very top of the set but we could hear him. Last a few seconds worth the £70 each we paid.
The Escargot restaurant was fantastic and only a few minute walk to the theatre. Needless to say, the show was exceptional and a " must see" for everyone. A+ experience.
Fantastic. My 4th time seeing Les Mis and it never gets old.
Loved this theatre. Staff very helpful. If you want a drink during intermission, be sure to order before the show starts. It will be ready for you when you come out.
Fantastic production. Very talented singers. As always, I love Javert!
Such an awesome show, the music is fabulous and our seats were perfect!!
Performance was great. Seats in stalls could have been better if we made the decision on this performance earlier.
The show was fantastic, but not so the dinner beforehand.......I purchased a dinner and theatre package which included dinner at Leon De Bruxelles.. We were originally booked into L'Escargot, but the booking was changed later.
After looking forward to a special pre-theatre experience I was disappointed with this venue.
Upon arrival at the time booked for us we were warmly welcomed, however when I produced my voucher the mood changed and we were asked to wait at the bar for a table and menu to be found.
After a few minutes we were escorted to a table near the door and given creased, used photo-copied paper menus with choices of 2 items each from Entree, main course and dessert and told we could choose from 2 courses only.
The entrée came fairly quickly and my salad was quite nice and fresh, but my friend’s mushroom soup was very meagre and the bread to accompany it arrived after she had finished eating.
We then waited about 30 minutes for our main meals so I reminded the waiter that we had to leave in 20 minutes to be at the theatre on time. He said he would check with the kitchen and 5 minutes later told me it was on its way. It arrived in another 5 minutes so we had 10 minutes to eat and run!
I ordered mushroom risotto and my friend ordered fish and chips. The risotto was as named – mushroom and rice without any other ingredients except a sauce, however it tasted nice but I was only able to eat half in the time we had left. My friend got one piece of battered haddock and several fried potato chips with a spoonful of mashed peas. Very ordinary.
We had to ask for the drinks bill and pay it while we were still eating in order to make it to our theatre, down the road, on time.
We won’t be going back as it was nowhere near the experience we expected.
Fantastic! We took the option to have the meal at L'Escargot first and were not disappointed. We had read mixed reviews about this restaurant before going but can honestly say we were well pleased with the service and the food was fabulous; if anything we should have gone earlier to enjoy the atmosphere for longer. They were undertaking renovations at the time but this wasn't an issue; we highly recommend this restaurant. As for the show it proved to us that it deserves its longest running show status. The seats were great; this was a memorable evening and one we will continue to talk about for some time to come.
Awesome performance with very good price and seat
Strongly recommand !!!
This show is phenomenal. If you have only one evening to spare in London, then this is the place to be.
