Wow what a day! We only had 2 days in London and decided to book this tour to ensure we did see the 'big items'. Worth every penny. Our guide, Maryanne, was fantastic. So enthuastic. Yes it's a long day but it flies past. We didn't bother with the pub lunch and instead went to St Martins in the Field (you spot right near Trafalgar Sq and this church is on the corner, ask the guide for directions) and so glad we did. Excellent food and good value. Maryanne also managed to get us a great spot to view the Changing of the Guard. We chose the London Eye to end the day and there was quite a wait to get on (about an hour) but definitely worth the wait. If you don't have much time in London this is a very efficient and well spent way to see as much as possible.

This was the best it could be. Alan was the best tour guide I have ever had. I have been to every continent in the world and have take many tours, so that is saying a lot. He was informative, funny, helpful, patient and totally competent. I feel extremely lucky to have gotten him as my guide for that day. My husband is English and I have spent several months in England, sightseeing, and I was not bored with Alan's presentation, in fact it was exciting.

This was an excellent tour to do when time is limited. The tour guide was informative and the open top Harrods Bus was great. It was timed to perfection starting with the tower of London tour, the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and then completing with the Harrods High Tea. All in all an excellent experience!

Tour guide was excellent. Changing of the guard was so busy on the day we went, that he managed to salvage something for us when his first and second plans weren't going to work.

Fun experience - Paul was a great tour guide. Tower of London and Crown Jewels, St. Paul Cathedral, Changing of the Guard - all worked out well. Had nice luncheon at Walker's and day was topped off w/Tea at Harrod's. Very enjoyable day!

I would highly recommend this tour if you are having a short stay in London as this tour covers so much. We had read mixed reviews prior to booking but we said we'd take a chance and were glad that we did. They picked us up on time from our hotel and brought us to Victoria station where we were introduced to our guide for the day. Our guide Alan especially made this trip enjoyable for us as he had a very in depth knowledge of London and he was also very entertaining. Also our bus driver, Malcolm, was very friendly and helpful. One piece of advice I would give is to try and do this tour on any day other than a Sunday as a lot of places are closed. We began the tour by visiting Westminster Abbey but couldn't go inside due to it being a Sunday, we were then brought to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben on the hour so we could hear the chimes which was a nice touch. We then had a guided tour of the Tower of London followed by the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. However, it was very busy due to it being a Sunday so we were unable to get down to the front of the palace so we just seen them marching along the road, we then had a cruise along the Thames followed by lunch. Then it was off to St Paul's but again we were unable to go inside due to service. We opted for a flight on the London Eye at the end, it began raining which restricted our view. Overall really enjoyed it but try and do it during the week if possible!

I would strongly this to anyone interested in getting an intro to London. It was thorough but leisurely. We saw all the sights and had plenty of time at the Tower of London, the Thames River cruise, the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral. Our guide, Damien, was great. Had constant informative commentary and always gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. The tour also gave us great ideas on what to do over the following few days. Do it!

Our tour started on a red tour bus with an open top on a rainy, windly, and cold day, but Alan, our tour guide, encouraged us to get on top and really see the sights which we did. He was amazing in his knowledge of London - both historically and architecturally - and his enthusiasm made the trip extremely enjoyable even with the trying weather conditions. A first class tour with a FIRST CLASS GUIDE!
