The pass and guidebook worked out well for us, as they gave us great detailed information and helped us plan what we should see. We probably saw and did more because of the all-inclusive price of the pass. It certainly helped us to organize ourselves for sightseeing in a foreign country and city while keeping us within our budget.

I love the Travelcard. The London Pass I would recommend if you are seeing enough sights on their list to make it worth the money. Also, it is nice to bypass some of the lines with the London Pass.

Useful if you are spending a minimum of 3 days.

Definitely worthy doing, though it was a little difficult locating where to pick up the pass.

A savings on transportation alone makes this pass worth purchasing. The pass allows you to see so much and offers free entry and discounts to many places.

This was a great way to travel. The tube was so user friendly, efficient and well signed. We did, however, manage to get on a wrong train but fortunately we caught the next train to where we had to go without any difficulty. It certainly saved us money.

We purchased a 6 day pass. Had difficulties with the card at several venues. No way to reach the office by telephone on Sunday, so we lost a day. This is a good deal; however, you will be best advised to plan ahead with the venues you are going to visit. Best use is multiple days with 3-4 events per day.

We purchased a two day pass and found that it wasn't worth it. Westminster Abbey was NOT included in this and many of the art museums are free anyway. Perhaps a 1 day pass might be a better value if you plan your day and go where the pass can be utilized. The other issue is the fact that you have to go to the Visitor Center to redeem the voucher, and that wasted almost the entire morning. Also, until you receive the guide which is given to you upon redemption of the voucher, you don't know all of the values that are available. For ex., I had already purchased the Hop On Hop Off pass and it was actually discounted through London Pass.

This pass will provide several entrances to some key sites with a cut to the front of the line. It also covers the Tube fees for the days that your pass is valid. If you are planning to do a lot of major sightseeing in one or two days with several Tube transfers, it is definitely worth it. However, many sites are outside of London, and it is impossible to fully leverage the value.
Reviewed by: Anonymous, United States of America, August 2008 Note from Viator: We are pleased to inform that the number of attractions located within Central London is continuously increasing and today 45 out of the 57 attractions offered with the pass are inside the Zone 1 travel area. So with more attractions than ever in central London we hope that next time you will be able to maximise your savings with the London Pass.
Viator prices for the London Pass are better than other offers. We were in London for 4 days and we took the 3 day pass - which is bit of overkill as London has so many free museums which are worth visiting. We used the pass for the Tower of London, Windsor Castle and the train, the river cruise, Royal Mews and Queens Gallery, Shakespeare's Globe, St.Paul's Cathedral, Queens Ice n Bowl - all these can be packed into two days to benefit more from the Pass.
Reviewed by: Satyakiran M, Belgium, March 2008 Note from Viator: We are so glad that you were able to cover so many attractions with your London Pass. With the attractions mentioned you saved over £35. If you used any of the special offers and the opportunity to skip the queues at some attractions then you really have made great use of the London Pass and we hope you will use it again on your next trip to London.
One day wasn't worth it.

It would have been nice to know that the two days had to be done two days in a row. We had made travel plans and therefore paid for one day that we could not use. The value was there in the cost of admission to the sights that we visited.

The pass cost too much money for the events we got to see, and some of the attractions were too far away for us to get our money's worth.

There was not enough time to get our money's worth from the sightseeing pass. In three days, we were just able to get what we paid for the passes; we didn't save much. Each site took almost half a day to visit, and you cannot visit more than one site a day. You need to calculate what you are going to visit beforehand and than decide to buy the pass. The travel card is definitely worth it!

I got the one day pass, waste of money. By the time you find the place to pick up your pass and begin to use it your time runs short. Maybe if I would have gotten it for more days it would have been worth it. Personally I will never make the mistake to purchase a pass again.
