I took my sister on this trip as a belated birthday g ift. We were impressed fight from the checking in at Embankment Pier. ALL the staff were courteous and friendly. The food served was lovely, especially the warm scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Very yummy! The view from our window-side table was wonderful. Seeing all that wonderful London architecture, both old and new, was most interesting. We are born and bred Londoners and absolutely proud of our great city. We have visited other big cities round the world but London is the best. We took the dress code very seriously and took great care with our outfits, although there were some on the boat who didn't embrace the sense of occasion. Such a pity. My sister said it was the best present I could have given her. We are thinking of booking the lunch cruise next , then the dinner cruise with our husbands. That's how much we enjoyed our trip. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it a real 'English Afternoon Tea' complete with our lovely pianist who played for the whole trip.

Staff was very attentive and took note of our individual requests regarding strength of tea and vegetarian choices. Piano accompaniment was entertaining without being intrusive. Everything went very smoothly.

Very enjoyable despite the bad weather. Good selection of teas and snacks served by a very polite and accomodating staff. Our only complaint was the dress code. When booking, we were told to dress smartly casual. About 60% of the passengers dressed appropriately; the rest were allowed on-board wearing dungarees, sweatshirts, sneakers etc. They need to either revise or enforce the dress code.

Trip was very relaxing and the sandwiches and cakes were acceptable, The pianist was a joy to listen to.However the trip was billed to last 1.5 hours but only lasted 1.0 hour. Everything else was excellent and I would recommend it to all tourists.

I had a wonderful time on the Bateaux, as the table and Cutlery was set out nicely . The presentation of the dessert was nice and the desserts themselves were very delightful and the scenery of London was beautiful. My ownly concerns were the service and ham sandwhiches. The service was not great as it was hard at times to get the attention of the staff. Secondly the staff should have found out ones religious beliefs on food. As my friend and I were given two ham sandwhiches, thankfully we were able to replace the sandwhiches with the other options we were given. It was just supprising that one did not think to ask.

this was a 92 birthday gift to my Mother. We were disappointed that the trip left 10 mins late and returned 20 mins early. That meant 30 mins were shorted from the advertised time allowed. Very disappointing for a lady reliving her childhood in that part of London. Why was it shortened?
Everything else was great and she enjoyed it excetp for the length which was misrepresented.
