What You Can Expect
Before arriving at your hotel, enjoy a 45-minute break in central London at the Tower of London – one of the city’s most iconic attractions. Use the time to stretch your legs on a walk around, or pose for photos in front of this majestic, yet imposing, tower that was designed to terrify Londoners and foreign invaders alike.
After your break, return to your coach and head to your hotel. If you’re staying in a hotel at one of London’s airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or Luton), your driver will drop you off first at Victoria Station, so you can catch an express train to your hotel (not included).
When making a booking, you will need to advise your cruise ship details and your hotel accommodation details. Your transfer will be confirmed instantaneously and you will be provided a travel voucher to present to the driver. Approximately 24 hours prior to your arrival at Harwich Port, you will be required to reconfirm exact pickup time and place (contact info will be provided on your confirmation voucher).
We were very satisfied with the service. The driver, don't recall his name, was very efficient, funny and affable. After picking us up at the port he gave us a mini tour and commentary on some of the sights in London before delivering us to our hotel. The service was excellent and will use you again when we can.
Buses was prompt and the drivers were great! Loved the history that the driver imparted along the way. I would recommend this transportation to others going from Harwich back into London!
Slight delay in departure from Harwich. Tour guide very informative and helpful. We got delivered to our hotel in enough time to spend the afternoon exploring sights close-by.
THAT WENT AS EXPECTED, WELL
This review is essentially the same as for the June 4th except the directions are reversed. The guide was ok and the weather was awful. The actual audio tour around the site is good with a lot of information. With a bad leg, it was a lot of walking for me but worth it even with the rain and wind.
We were not advised that the trip would take as long as it did, especially for my friend trying to get to Heathrow. We were not advised that there was no bathroom on the coach nor that there was a 45 minute delay at Tower of London. Given the traffic in London, this trip was extraordinarily painful and long. Perhaps the information could have been made more obvious at time of booking.
