Great mix of bus and boat. Fantastic introduction to main tourist sites in Westminster. Highly recommended guide.
We liked the tour and the stops at Westminster, the Thames River cruise, St James Palace, the changing of the guards there and the walk with the guards to Buckingham Palace. Nick, our guide, was excellent, giving us the extraordinary English history in a colorful manner. The 'free lunch' was not free, as one of our party is allergic to fish, we changed one item on the menu and were charged full price, even though the non-fish choice was less expensive! Yes, we would take another tour with this company.
This was a great tour. It takes you to all the sites and the guide was great.
A wonderful experience, even the dull weather didn't spoil our trip. The courier was polite very organised and with her knowledge we had possibly the best view of the guards and band as the front of Buckingham palace is always crowded, we all managed to get some lovely photos.
Finishing at Harrods we enjoyed being pampered with a wonderful lunch.
Thank you all so much.
The tour could have used a little more information on the pickup point with some signs where and which gate the bus would be leaving from. No information was available in the terminal and we really had to walk throughout the terminal several times before stumbling upon the correct location of departure. Overall a fast paced city tour that really crams a lot into the short allotted time frame. This still, was a pretty good value for the amount of sights visited and the commentary added by a well educated guide.
Excellent guide, tour and routemaster....but victoria bus station was too grouded and it really was difficult to find the right departure place!
Enjoyed the day. Guide was very informative. Enjoyed opportunity to stretch legs some as well.
This was my first tour in London and finding Victoria Coach station was a challenge. The directions from the subway/tube station was not clear and the signage along the roads not at every intersection. Maybe a different pickup location would be better. The tour itself was informative and loved hopping on and off the bus to see Westminster Abbey and the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace. Thoroughly enjoyed having lunch at Harrods after the tour. Our tour guide was energetic and very pleasant.
Everything was wonderful on this trip except the lunch at Harrod's (Italian Restaurant) which was a complete disaster. The meal took about 3 hours to complete. It took about 30 min. to get a glass of water and we left before coffee. I would recommend never to use them again.
