The tour is very comprehensive, and the guide was funny and informative. I had just a day in London after a business trip and this really turned out to be a good option. We were also lucky that there was a rehearsal for the ascension day parade in the Mall, and weather was great. All in all a great experience!
This was a great tour to see everything and know where to go back to, although the tour guide was a little boring
This was an excellent tour. We really enjoyed our tour guide she made the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and interesting.
This was a wonderful tour! Our tour guide, Norma, has been leading tours for a long time and it showed. She was very attentive to everyone in the group of 42. She held up an umbrella to let people know where she was at all times and kept checking to make sure we were all present and accounted for. Top notch. The highlights were Buckingham Palace where we saw the changing of the guard and practice for the Queen's 60th Anniversary of her Coronation, the Tower of London with the Crown Jewels, St. Paul's Cathederal, the cruise on the Thames, etc. Lunch was at a pub and was adequate but not great. The tour departed from the Victoria Coach Station which was a very easy walk from the Victoria tube station. Really a delightful day but only a taste of London. Good to take this tour your first day and then a self guided one on the Hop on Hop off bus the next day. As a travel agent I would recommend this tour without hesitation.
The London in one day was great. We really saw a lot. It really gives you a great flavor for London. Our guide was very informative and did a great job.I wish we could have had more time for shopping.
What a tour - was picked up and taken to Victoria Station where we were directed onto our coach for the day. Went to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and ended up seeing Kate and William, Charles and Camilla, and the Queen and Prince Philip drive past. Would never have imagined that we would see the Royal Family and this was made possible by the fantastic guide and driver. There was plenty of time to enjoy the highlight's of the Tour at a nice pace.
This was the best of all the tour. The tour guide, Tony was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very polite, keep us moving. Great tour. Great tour.
Would definitely recommend this tour. We were not in London long, so this tour was perfect. We were able to see much of the city. Very informative tour guide.
This tour was fantastic! As a first time London goer I wanted to see all the most important historic sites in one day and that's exactly what I got! We had a great guide, very informative and funny. Everything felt very professional and afterwards I left feeling satisfied with my day. A must do for all first-time visitors! /Madeleine from Sweden
This tour is perfect to get to feel the city, see some very interesting things and have a good start for your London days.
We stayed in London 4 days, and we thought it would be nice if we started with a tour to understand what's what and to have a general idea the following days. The tour is extensive, we reached all the points indicated, and we felt that we got what we paid for.
We had complimentary pickup from the hotel (it's one hour BEFORE the tour's starting hour, and you are taken to Victoria station where you board another bus with your guide for the day).
Everything went smooth, even though we knew it was going to be in a rush with so many things to see in a few hours.
DO NOT EAT AT THE TRAFALGAR SQUARE PUB, it's a dump, the food is horrible (fish and chips especially had a very, very fishy taste - disgusting, really) and the toilet stinks ! It's not mandatory to eat there, so if you think you can manage to eat somewhere else, you can (and I STRONGLY advise you to) do it. Plenty of options nearby, even a McDonalds if that is ok with you.
If you want it all in one day, to have free independent wandering the next days, this is it !
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable -- it seemed like she knew every detail of all the nooks and crannies of London and its history. We got to see all the major sites as listed in the tour description (general city tour, changing of the guard, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London), and lunch was in a small pub. I ended my day with a London Eye flight. Timing for this was good because the river cruise ended around sunset and I got to ride the London Eye at night.
