I wasn't aware changing of the guards occurred every second day. Booked this exact tour because I thought I was going to see the changing of the guards.
Reviewed by: Anonymous, Australia, February 2007 Note from Viator: Changing of the Guard occurs every second day from March 01 to 31, 2007. From April 01, 2007 it is scheduled to occur daily, however occasionally there may not be a Changing of the Guard. On these occasions you will visit Horseguards Parade, built on the site of the jousting yard of the old Whitehall Palace and the scene of reviews, parades and ceremonies.
Good tour. I recommend it to others.

This is definitely a good way of getting a bird's-eye view of all the important sites in London. We did this the first day and then explored London on our own the next day. The full day travel pass does come in very handy too.

This was a very nice comprehensive look at London. The lunch at the pub was great. We actually went back there on our own to eat.

Good tour for first-time visitors who are short on time, but I would have preferred having more time at each place.

Fast-paced and the pub was great. As usual, my husband choose the best meal and the Tower of London was interesting, as well. The boat down the Thames was fabulous. We did Madame T's with our bonus - thank you for that!

The trip was very good. All the important landmarks of London were covered in a whole day. The food at the pub was good, and the tour guide was excellent. She was highly knowledgeable. All in all, a trip worth the price.

I enjoyed the tour. I was disappointed that so little time was spent at the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. We didn't actually see the changing - just the marching of the soldiers in the street leading to the palace. The tour guide was good and informative.

I take my grandchildren to London when they graduate from school and have been on this tour several times. I thought they could have explained a little more while driving through the city.

For 8 hours we were put in a small bus that was cramped and uncomfortable. The tour guide was disinterested and didn't seem to like answering questions from the group. Some people left the tour midway because of the bus situation. We did get to see a lot of London in one day but it was not a fun experience.

The tour was fine for those who visit London for the first time. No details, no real story, no complete picture - just look right, look left. The tour of the Tower was not very informative either. All in all you are much better off with a traditional Tower guide and a traditional hop on hop off tour. The guide was very well organized though and nobody got lost which is good. The tour of St. Paul's was also quite nice.

Tour guide was adequate but not super. Voice did not carry well and there was no humor or energy to keep everyone's attention or make things interesting.

The tour was very rushed. The pickup was 45 minutes late. The drop-off was in town, not at the pickup place, which was hard with small children.

The tour guide needed some sensitivity training for dealing with the handicapped.
