Our guide David was just fantastic. He was full of knowledge and happy to answer any questions we had. What a pleasant day, we had perfect weather and the villages we visited are just gorgeous - postcard material. Lunch at the Swan hotel was lovely - the fresh trout is highly recommended!
What a great day, would do it again if I get the chance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Tour through the Cotswold during our trip to London. I have wanted to visit the Cotswolds since I was a little girl and found this region as beautiful as I expected. We stopped at several pretty little Villages, and had plenty of time to explore each. The Bus Driver was professional, knowledgeable, and ensured we had a lovely day. We are very happy to recommend this Tour.

A lovely day out from the hussle and bussle of London. A visit to 4 different places each with their own unique charm.
Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and full of sense of humor, so does our driver. Lunch was at Swan House - the trout was very fresh and tasty. The four towns are very beautiful. Highly recommend the tour for everyone! Perfect getaway from the city.
Excellent day, fantastic scenery and a wionderful group of people
What a beautiful part of the world, and there's so much more to explore! I would reccommend a weekend in the Cotswolds but we had limited time and I am so happy we did this tour. I cannot remember the tour guides name as she only said it once and spoke softly on the microphone. She was nice enough but we felt she did not know too much of the areas and she was reading off pieces of paper. The towns visited were beautiful, Bibury and Bourton on the water were just amazing and we were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day. Stow on the wold was quite average I would have preffered another village or more time in Bourton. The lunch at the pub was very yummy, the apple crumble was to die for.
All in all a lovely day and I enjoyed having free time in each village.
Mark was an interesting and very knowledgeable guide. Pickup and drop off worked well.
Wonderful tour - highly recommend. We visited 4 of the most charming villages in the area with free time for exploring in all. Our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and fun.
Absolutely my favorite excursion. Loved it! Lunch was great, stops were charming, David our tour guide was FABULOUS and so knowledgeable and interesting. Highly, Highly recommend.
Guide was excellent. Villages were beautiful. Wished we would have had more time to explore them.
We had a great day on the Lunch in the Cotswold tour yesterday. Nick is a very informative guide and Malcolm is a very good driver. Thanks for a wonderful day. Will remember the Cotswolds for the quaintness of the villages and pretty countryside.
Beautiful region and well worth a visit. Quaint, typically English villages.
Lunch was great and the venue was absolutely amazing.
If you're going to London, do yourself a favour and spend a day in the Cotswolds.
Like us, you won't regret it.
Took the Lunch in the Cotswold Tour in July.
On time pickup from the Hotel for transfer to the main coach station. The Tour Guide for the transfer was witty and good natured. The Coach Station waiting area is small and very crowded with a number of coach tours leaving from this location for different destinations. We had no difficulty at the Coach Station and were directed by staff to our specific Coach. Toilets available at this location.
Tour Guide was very knowledgeable with an excellent commentary on places and events throughout the day. The Guides comments were at appropriate times giving ample time for resting or observing the countryside. The Coach Driver was very professional and safe giving a smooth ride with the conditions on the day being intermittent rain and drizzle.
The Tour proceeds through London then out into the countryside. There is ample opportunity to view the city and the countryside from the coach during the trip. The villages are very unique and well worth visiting. There is ample time at each of the village locations to walk around, or have a snack at one of shops. The Tour proceeded at a leisurely pace, and was not rushed.
Lunch was a set menu at a Hotel in one of the villages with choices or either Trout or Ham and vegetables with a dessert. The Trout was apparently very good. The Ham and vegetables could have been a little bigger serving. The dessert was an Apple Crumble which while nice was not as sweet as we are used to. Would have preferred a larger menu selection.
The Tour does not include drop offs at individual Hotels. Various drop off points close to transport are offered. We were dropped off at a Tube Station which was actually within walking distance of our Hotel.
We have gone on other Viator tours in the USA and Europe and find them to be of a very good standard.
Would recommend the Tour.
Wonderful tour. Great guide. The start of this tour was a bit chaotic as it leaves from London's Victoria bus station. The information said it left from gate 16 and so the people on were all comming to gate 16 and questioning the bus station attendant there. He was becoming more and more irritated as he had nothing to do with the tour and had other work to do. He made several announcements, the last one sounding quite angry. The tour company attendants were at the next gate over for another tour and so he was spending most of his time redirecting people to them. It would be helpful if they could set up a tours desk to handle all the questions for the tour company and send people to the gate their tour leaves from. The tour was about 15 minutes late leaving as the buses ahead of it using the same gate were late leaving which held everyone behind them up. Once on the road the tour was wonderful. We saw lots of beautiful countryside and quaint villages. The tour guide, Derek, was extremely knowledgeable and kept up the most informative, interesting commentary that we had on any of the tours we took while in Europe. He also answered any questions that were presented to him. The lunch was good. We had the ham, which was good, but wished we had tried the trout. Everyone at our table who had trout enjoyed it. Some of the people were late returning to the bus after lunch and we had wait for them. I think there was a bit of a language barrier for them.
Terrific guide: Carol and the best driver we had in England, Malcolm: a 10
Fabulous day trip. Guide was terrific. Tour was well organised and managed and lunch was beautiful
This was a lovely way to see qaunt English villages.some truly lovely pics to capture, my advice though, they take you to a pub for the included lunch...give the lunch they provide a miss, just walk to the bar area in this pub, grab a table and order there. The lunches looked really good, as the provided lunch was tasteless,,I could not eat it and I'm not fussy, believe me. All the villages you will be taken to you will enjoy, lots of little shops to explore and buy gifts etc. a really nice day, do it, you'll enjoy it.
Really enjoyed the trip. our guide was great telling us lots of interesting information. the driver was very good too. both very friendly. I was nervous about the trip because it is my first time away on my own. I enjoyed the company and had a lovely lunch with some very nice people. Thankyou for a great trip
Tour guide was excellent. Really enjoyed his commentary and wealth of details. He was knowledgeable about the history, the flora, trivia of the region. The young driver, Leon, drove extremely well. The lunch at The Swan was very good. Would highly recommend this tour.
It was a great tour and our guide, Frank, was absolutely wonderful!
An absolutely beautiful tour and scenery of the Cotswolds. The lunch was very nice and in a beautiful location. Our tour guide was very informative and it made a nice outing after rushing around sightseeing in London.
