The experience was pretty much what I had hoped for--Cotswalds villages, interesting walks and views. The meal was quite good. The guide was friendly, funny, helpful--in a word, excellent.
Such a beautiful part of the country! We were very lucky to have a sun for most of the day as well! Our tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area and kept up a running commentary throughout the trip which was very informative! The coach was very comfortable and lunch was delicious, though very filling! Well worth the trip.
The Cotswolds are always fabulous. I'd been before and this tour was great. Great guide, very informative. The only negative was that I personally didn't like the lunch. The venue was lovely but the food was quite ordinary. Others may have liked it though.
This was a wonderful day out, with a brilliant driver and guide. Lunch was amazing, and we all just loved seeing the scenery and enjoying the many stops and visits.
Really good tour of 4 pretty villages. And nice tour guide and bus driver.
Lunch at Bibury at the Swan Inn was just lovely!
loved every minute of this tour. cotswold visit must! the most unforgettable place of natural outstanding beauty! it's like visiting a fairy tale set. a very nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. had trout at the swan hotel. very knowledgable guide and able driver. picture perfect place bring your camera!
We had a tour to Cotswolds, Oxford, Stratford on Avon and Warwick Castle. The guide and driver were great. They explained things very clearly and it was a great day. Highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was so interesting. The luncheon
at the Star was fantastic!
We were very well looked after. The towns the tour visits are marvelous, and are not at all overrun with tour groups, managing to preserve their quiet, rustic character.
We also enjoyed the brief shopping opportunities, picking up antique prints, local pottery ware, and some pies to take home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The driver and guide were excellent. We had plenty of time of enjoy the beautiful villages as we walked around, visit the delightful shops and enjoy a wonderful lunch.
Thank you for a great day!
Perfect overview of the Cotswalds. Seeing 4 different villages was perfect.
From the ease of booking the tour through being let off back in the London, our experience was wonderful. The tour guide was engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The countryside and quaint villages visited are the essence of rural England. The lunch itself, was well prepared and presented in a fine setting. Even the weather was superb ! Kudos to the bus driver for navigating the backroads and tight spaces encountered along the way. Thank you Viator for a highlight of our England vacation.

Very chill day day tour. We loved being able to walk around ourselves at the adorable and picturesque villages and meet back at the bus. A bit more of the history would have been nice to have (we are history buffs). It's hard to get fresher trout than the Swan served--right from their own trout stream! It was delicious, but had tons of bones, so if you don't care for that, get the pasta. The steamed veggies served with the trout were, unfortunately, completely tasteless. Why not roast them, Swan Inn? And, the apple crumble dessert was also disappointing and tasteless. (Chef out sick that day, maybe?). The bus does NOT have a bathroom, so overimbibing in beer or coffee could lead to an extra bathroom stop. We hit traffic on the way back, too, and would not have made our 7pm dinner res that we had cancelled anyway. We'd do this tour again, though. It really was a highlight of our trip, and the Cotswolds are so beautiful! I'd want to live there if I thought I could drive on the other side of the road. ;-)
