Sammy was amazing. Excellent trip. I would recommend to everyone.
Tour guide Sammy was great!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris for the first time!!!
I was able to see all the major attractions in paris for the day!
The St Pancras train station is wonderful! They have great food, the service is quick and it's a great way to get to Paris! I highly recommend taking this day trip. We took the guided tour and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and sights in Paris. She also knew how to get around the city very well! The Eurostar train was fast, comfortable and amazing to get to go through the English Chanel! If we had tried to do Paris on our own... we would not have seen half of the sights!
Nice trip to Paris, great tour of the cities beautiful landmarks
The tour was excellent. Sami was a great tour guide and we were lucky to have him. He was able to cut the line for our group at both the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral which saved a lot of time. While we stopped at the Eiffel Tower for an hour or more, we did not go to the second level. I am not sure why. The one hour cruise on the Seine was also great. Our group saw a lot of Paris in a very short time. Bus tour was also great. It seemed to me that Sami knew people wherever we went. A wonderful day all around.
Was very well coordinated. Trip was good. Suggest tour guide to discuss some of the common ways pickpockets and thieves steal from tourists.
Really fantastic. The Eurostar was great. The tour in Paris covered the highlights. I would do it again.
To be able to see the Eifel Tower with my youngest son was amazing and taking the Rail thru the Chunnel is something my youngest son can tell his kids. I highly recommend this tour, although it is a long day, but worth it.
Given the time available, we were able to visit an amazing number of locations! Our tour manager was fantastic, moving the group from place to place in a calm and efficient manner. In partnership with our driver(s), she was the key factor in assuring a wonderful experience.
My 14 year-old and I decided to take the guided tour. Our guide Sammi was very well versed in Paris history and he kept us on track and on time. The tour was a bit of a whirlwind, but if you only have one day in Paris - this is the way to spend it. We hit the major sites, spent minimal time waiting in lines and learned a lot of interesting facts. We had a blast!
Our guide was very nice. Especially appreciated was the time she took to talk to my granddaughter who never left her side and kept asking questions. She received many hugs at the end of the tour!
The only way to see Paris in one day is with a guided tour. The Eurostar train trip was excellent both ways. We met our tour representative at the train station and she had our packets with tickets and information that we would need in Paris to meet our guide. She even helped us go through the ticket lines to get to the train. Once in Paris we met our guide, who was very knowledgeable but just needed to speak a little louder. He took us to all of the sights in Paris. We got to go up in the Eiffel tower on the day we went and he took us to the front of a very long line at Notre Dame. It was a great trip and if you only have a day to spend in Paris I would highly recommend this tour as they have it timed out using the hop on hop off buses to get around Paris and a river boat cruise to end the day. Thanks Viator my wife and I loved this tour.
Great trip! Sammy was the BEST guide ever and made the trip the great experience that it was!
If you only have 1 day to spend in Paris, this is the way to do it. We were lucky to have Sammi as our guide. We didn't go up in the Eiffel tower, but we went to the Louvre instead and saw the Mona Lisa. Sammi was great and took it slow with us. I was 5 months pregnant and my mom has a bad knee. Tour group was nice and small, only 9 of us. So it was nice to get to know everyone and easy to stay in a group. I feel like this was definitely worth our money. We first boarded the bus and toured part of the city using the audio guide on the bus. After we dropped off the people doing the self guided day, we headed to the Eiffel tower and boarded the river cruise. River cruise was loud, but there were a lot of kids on board that day. After the cruise, we walked under the Eiffel tower to a restaurant a block over for lunch. Next we headed back to the bus and made our way to Notre Dame. We had about an hour inside to explore before we headed over to the lovers bridge for some pictures. From there, we walked to the Louvre and Sammi took the time to explain a lot about it. Once inside we had about an hour and 20 minutes. He showed us how to get to the Mona Lisa, if that's where we wanted to go. Or you could have gone anywhere you wanted. We stuck together as a group to see the Mona Lisa. Afterwards, we made our way on foot to the opera house where the bus would pick us up. We had a half hour or so to unwind in the Lindt chocolate shop and get a snack while we waited. Then the bus took us back to the train station. A few notes: we found our Evan Evans point of contact in St. Pancras station in front of the Group tours entrance at about 6:15 am London time. If you dno't see it, just ask an employee at the station. They can direct you there. Also, keep a water bottle on you and few snacks. You eat lunch in Paris, but you're likely to get hungry and thirsty again as the day goes on. But there was time to grab drinks and a snack before we boarded the train to head back to London.
