It was already our fourth day in London when we asked for the Black Taxi Private Tour. So we visited exactly only those places we hadn't time to see, away from the main tourist groups. And many many thanks to our driver!

We hired the same driver for two 2-hour periods on different days. He was well informed and eager to please. When we ran into a problem with weather, he quickly changed the plan to guarantee a great tour.

I have been to London more than 20 times, but my traveling friend had never been out of the U.S. The tour was great and even showed me things I had not seen before. It was well worth the money and time. The driver was great!

For the overall expenses, it's really worth doing. The driver was very highly skilled and gave lots of knowledge about London's history and sights.

Took a "customized" private tour of North London's Hampstead Heath and Highgate areas. The idea was to see exclusive residential areas that were "off the beaten path". It truly was a most interesting tour. Our guide, an older gentlemen, was very experienced and right on time. He knew exactly what we were looking for. As the tour progressed, it was as if we were all old pals. Although expensive, if you're looking for something really unique to do, this is a great idea, and we would definitely do it again.

This was fabulous. Our driver was really knowledgeable and it meant we could go directly to the most important places. We even got down side streets we never would have seen on a tour bus. Bit cramped for 5 but perfect for 4 or less.

Car was comfortable. Tour guide was on time and very knowledgeable. By the end of the tour though we felt a bit overwhelmed by all of the facts we had been told throughout the tour. Would have preferred if he asked what we wanted to see and know about, but a very nice experience regardless!

While very expensive because we needed it for a Saturday, our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and willing to take us anywhere we pleased. If you will part with the money, it was way better than any crowded tour bus. We were able to pull right up front of major landmarks and hop out for pictures.

Taxi driver very good and friendly. Seemed to know a lot about London and the attractions, but took us to places we didn't ask to see, which meant we didn't have time to see what we wanted to see.

It was like a history school excursion. We wanted to see as many sights in the 2 hours that we could but instead our driver gave us a history lesson wasting time at one sight well over 30 minutes talking about something that he obviously was interested in. The tour was described as sights of London not history lesson. Waste of money not at all what I wanted.
