What You Can Expect
Your guide will give you the inside scoop on the London attractions that inspired JK Rowling’s vision and show you how real-life London sneaks into the magical world Rowling invented. Stop for photo opportunities on the mythical 9¾ platform, where Harry, Ron and Hermione caught the Hogwarts Express train to school. Take a walk down the fictional Diagon Alley, hidden from the Muggle world, and see the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron. By taking a private tour of these beloved sites, you’ll be able to savor each location at a leisurely pace.
Sights on the tour include:
The ‘Platform 9¾’ sign where Harry catches the Hogwarts Express
The Millennium Bridge, destroyed by Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
The bridge where the Knight Bus squeezes between two London double-decker buses in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, which must be entered to get to Diagon Alley
The London underground station from where Mr Weasley takes Harry to the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The location of the red telephone box where Harry and Mr Weasley descend into the secret Ministry of Magic in Order of the Phoenix
The secret hideout where Harry is reunited with Sirius Black in Order of the Phoenix
I would recommend this tour to any Harry Potter fan! Very nice to have one on one time with a guide.
Will - our chauffer/guide - was excellent. The trip and commentary was excellent.
This was the worst trip I have ever taken. It was the most expensive of all the Harry Potter tours listed and expected it to be wonderful. It was a point to tour. That is he bank they used, this is the bridge. It was horrible. I had four people in a horrible little cramped car. Every time we got in and out it was a nightmare because the seats had to be going u and back, they stuck. I paid for 3 adults because one child was. 12. Thank God that Emily weighs nothing because the back seat was meant fr a child. The car stalled about 5 times. We saw no real Harry Potter things, did to go to the studio or anywhere remotely interesting. The kids were car sick and cramped and tired.. Our driver was in jeans and a tee shirt, very nice, but not anything inferred from the description of the so called tour. I was mortifef. This was my treat for the kids and my friend, their Mother and we all hated it and were uncomfortable, bored, and miserable. This is the third time I have done this review, so quit sending this to me. There was no chauffeur, a tiny disgusting cramped car that didn't work and no tour.
Driver was extremely inexperienced. Said she could get us to skip lines that she couldn't. GPS didn't work and drove in circles - took over an hour just to get to our first location. Didn't get to see all of the locations. Gave false information about the films.
