This was an AWESOME tour and a great way to see parts of London not on any map/guidebook. Jane, our guide took us to an actual gin distillery in a London basement. We were able to learn lots of stories about the gin industry and taste several as well. The tour also included walks down several small alleys and lanes with all kinds of fun facts about what we were seeing. We ended up in an historic pub which had a debtors prison in the cellar. We were allowed to go down and check out the cells. Great trip!
Thank you so very much for the great tour and amazing time! Jane was lovely and my boyfriend Jack and I both enjoyed ourselves and Jane's company very much indeed. We hope to see Jane again in the near future for more interesting and fascinating times! She was confident approachable and knowledgable
A fascinating Tour. I like my Gin, but I had no idea how intertwined it was with the history of London. You get to do a gin tasting, see the distillation process, and then walk through the city learning about impact of the drink on society, before visiting one of the historic Gin Palaces, which used to be all the craze. A great way to immerse yourself in the history of London from a different angle and with a Gin and Tonic! Our guide, Jane, was great and knew so many things about the history of London.
Great tour, so glad we did it! Jane, our guide, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about gin, its history and the best places to find the drink in London! The venues were really cool; places I would have otherwise never found. A fun and educational way to spend the afternoon in London!
