Amazing tour. We had 1 hour to explore Stonehenge with just our group of 30 people. Lots of great photo opportunities. Our tour guide was great, I wish I remembered her name, she did the tour with Steve the driver, also great. Lacock is a charming town, the staff at the pub were excellent.
Wonderful trip, totally worth it to see the stonehenge in private where you get to take photos without much people and enjoy the scenery. The tour guide and bus driver was very friendly and helpful. Lacock was a small little village where we get to see a different type of housing architecture outside of London.
Amazing tour! Paying extra to for the private viewing is definitely worth it. It had been raining that day so we weren't allowed to go inside the stones, but we were still able to go right up to them and around the outside. Bath is such a charming town, and I wish we had gotten more time to explore the Roman baths. We only had an hour. And be sure you make it back to the bus in time! We waited 10 minutes for one woman in the group but had to leave her behind to make it to Stonehenge in time. Lacock was just ok. We made it there right as the sun was setting so it was too dark to see the things our guide was pointing out. The pub was quaint, but the food was only mediocre.
This tour is amazing! The weather is excellent (considering winter) and We are fortunate to stay in the inner circle for a full hour instead of 30mins originally. The bath tour is about 1.5hr. Note that u do not have much time for a proper meal after museum but still, highly recommended tour!!
This was perfect. Bus picked us up on time - EARLY and we drove out to Stonehenge - arrived around sunrise and were able to walk among the stones. If that wasn't a great trip - add in Lacock with a great breakfast and then tour the Roman Baths. Everything was great.
Being able to stand amongst the stones was worth the price and the very early departure. Our guide, David, was funny, enthusiastic and passionate about the historical sites and their conservation. The group was given plenty of time to take pictures at Stonehenge and at Bath. I never felt rushed at all. The only downside to the whole day was getting stuck in traffic on the way back to London and not having a toilet to use on the bus.
Incredible Journey! Private Stonehenge is the only way! Bath is an incredible city to visit and Lacock is fascinating. Our Tour Guide David was simply outstanding with historical facts and had great humour in his dialogue. The best tour you could choose, really worth it!
This tour was excellent, even the bus ride was nice just to see the beautiful landscape.
The sunset went over Stonehenge while we were there, we could not ask for more.
The only thing I would change is to skip dessert so you can spend more time in Lacock wandering around.
This tour was FANTASTIC, by far the best day tour while in London. The guide was awesome about keeping people on time and keeping things moving without being rushed. She was also very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in her commentary.
We spent a wonderful day visiting these three beautiful places. The private stay in Stonehenge was really outstanding. This trip gives you the unique chance to walk around and inside the circle before the general península time, in a relaxed way with a small group of people, so you can feel the special atmosphere of Stonehenge. The later visit to Lacock and Bath completes an unforgettable trip.
It was very well organized, a comfortable coach, and very kind and friendly staff .
What a perfect tour combination! Everything ran right on time, the tour guide and bus driver were awesome! We saw and experienced so much in such a short period of time that we could never have done on our own. Yes it was a 12 hour day but packed with so much quality. Every detail was taken care of and we highly recommend this tour and Viator.

Excellent the staff was prompt, informed, and entertaining all day. Great sunset visit to Stonehenge..perfect sunset finished the day.
The private tour is worth every cent. The chance to get up close to the stones and the roman bath house was a dream to place in the bucket list. Lacock was ok, nothing spectacular. The trip overall was great.
Fabulous tour of Stonehenge, first to arrive, walked the inner circle of the stones without crowds, took great photos. Bath was a very informative tour, interesting historical site, could have used extra time there.
This tour was fabulous! Being able to enter the inner circle of Stonehenge was a great experience I was glad to be able to share with my husband as I had visited years ago when it was still possible to climb on the stones. Now of course you can't touch the stones it is still a special experience to be able to get so close. It was a wet, misty cold evening but that only added to the eerie atmosphere surrounding Stonehenge. Our first stop earlier in the day was Bath which was excellent, a fascinating step back in time and Lacock was a beautiful, quaint little village. Our guide was so interesting and happy to answer all questions, and not forgetting our great, cheery driver who did an excellent job in pretty miserable weather.
Excellent tour. Our guide was interesting and informative, and stayed on schedule. Fantastic!
We enjoyed the tour guide very much. She was upbeat and enthusiastic. We enjoyed all three sites, an ancient one, a medieval one, and a roman one--great to see three eras in one day. Our teens enjoyed all three sites as well. Seeing Stonehenge at sunset was incredibly beautiful. I wouldn't recommend it for young children--too long a day and geared toward older ages.
initially,we thought the tour to start at 04:30 am was too early, fortunately this was the best time, all the 3 places we went, were no line.we got back London, just nice at 16:00 pm.recommended this tour
Despite heavy traffic which caused some delays, still a great trip. Roman baths were great and I would like to go back and wander the city. Lacock is a gorgeous little village and the food at the pub was great! The highlight though was being able to go into the stone circle and see them up close. Great experience and highly recommended. Tour guides were great and very knowledgable.
This was a wonderful experience! We did the sunset tour and have a great time. Our tour guide was a blue badge guide and he was well informed. I did appreciate how he kept the entire group on schedule even when we had a few people that were not considerate of time. The sites were great, the time passed well on the bus as our guide gave us information on some of the surrounding areas as we passed them. I enjoyed the tour.
This tour was absolutely fabulous - to stand among the stones was amazing! I saw Stonehenge 25 years ago from the outer circle so to be able to go inside was a real highlight. Breakfast in Lacock was a treat and Bath was well done also!
Was a super fantastic day being able to get inside Stonehenge was a dream come true.Bath was awesome and a beautiful city. The guide was incredible she kept the tour moving along yet there was plenty of time to see all the sights.Lacock was a nice village and breakfast was delicious.A great day
On the bus and off to Lacock. David took breakfast orders onboard so that all fifty of us could eat a quick, yet satisfying meal. We were served tea, coffee, and our food arrived within minutes of us arriving - fantastic. We walked around this little town/village and learned about the nuns who founded it, the King who despised them and its recent history as a film/tv location.
Back on the bus to Bathe. Once again the ride was a breeze and filled with informative tidbits, humor and debates about the moral behavior of humans. The city itself is small and packed with touristy stuff like the church, the baths, the ice cream shops, etc. We could have spent a long weekend exploring this town, but only had a couple of hours. David laid the groundwork of what was realistic to see and do and let us go on our own.
The bus was late departing for the second time due to some families being a little slow to return. Our driver Richard was another amazing person who patiently waited for everyone, every time and made what accommodations his rules and guidelines allowed. We had spent too much time at Stonehenge I believe we all wanted to, and people were late getting back at every stop, so now our driver was up against the safety clock. We had to sacrifice the convenience of being dropped off at multiple hotels for a plan that worked for the most people on the bus. I was shocked to hear people complain that they werent getting door-to-door service when it was our own faults for being late, but then some people complain about the taxes when they win the lottery.
My family had the best time! We cannot recommend this tour highly enough, especially if you are lucky and blessed enough to spend your day with Farmer David. He touched our hearts and filled our heads with memories that we will cherish forever. Some people are special, some places are holy and some days are extraordinary to get all three is more than a grand slam homerunit wasa miracle.
The best day ever-an eleven on a scale of one to ten-life changing?
These titles may seem a bit of an exaggeration, yet I would say theyre all understatements when it comes to describing our recent trip to Stonehenge and our wonderful guide David Jordan.
The bus ride was easy with comfy seats and plenty of space, but no bathroom. One of our fellow travelers failed to plan for the two-hour ride without stops and forced all of us over for an emergency bathroom stop. The driver and guide handled this well and kept the rest of us calm saying we would still have plenty of time to enjoy the stones on our own.
David kept us entertained, informed and awake with great stories about England, history, scientific discoveries, social interactions, dos, donts and his own knowledge, enthusiasm and openness really made the day! He knew the route so well he would literally count down the seconds to a great view, a photo opportunity or chance piece of wisdom he wanted to share. His genius was magical and enriched our tour far more than any audio guide or pre-written statements.
When we arrived at Stonehenge the mist was lifting from the ground, the sun was hidden behind clouds and the place was empty. The souvenir shop was not even open, but luckily the bathrooms were. Seeing the stones for the first time as they revealed themselves on the horizon was awesome! We approached the site along a path that was roped off to protect the area. When I saw the guard lower that rope barrier to allow us access to the stones, I knew this trip was worth every extra pound we paid to be here. The uniqueness of seeing Stonehenge up close with just fifty people instead of staring from a distance in a mob of thousands was priceless. I will not spoil your visit with more descriptions expect to say that I could not stop taking photos when asked to leave because I felt I could not capture the feeling, scope, and grandness of what we just witnessed with my digital camera.
