It was a real treat from beginning to end. Seeing the State Room set up for a banquet was the icing on the cake!

What an experience to see how the royal family lives!! I am not a follower of them but the sheer beauty of the palace meant that the pre-conceived notion I had had was quickly thrown out the window. I would recommend this tour to everyone!!

We had to wait for 2 hours in 2 different queues even though we had fast track tickets. It was well worth the wait though, absolutely amazing. We later saw the summer palace in Vienna and the Palace of Versailles and I don't know which one was the best. All mouth droopingly gorgeous. Buckingham Palace was the only working Palace of the three, bad luck we couldn't take pix.

The summer opening of the Buckingham Palace state rooms was amazing! Great to see once we were inside. Unfortunately, we still had to wait in a long line once our tour was called.

This was an amazing tour and one you just simply must do! But, do not expect that you will not have to stand in line. You must stand in line for about 20 minutes or so to exchange your voucher for the actual tickets, then you must stand in line about another 20 minutes to gain entry. We were there in the middle of August so perhaps that was part of it. All in all, it was pretty smooth but skip the line was a bit misleading. Be there in time to do all of this before your designated entry time. The palace itself was magnificent. The pre-recorded device allowed you to go at your own pace. We elected the afternoon tea option but when we got to the restaurant they had never heard of us so print your voucher twice, one for the Palace ticket and one for the tea if you elect this option. The Palace will keep your first voucher.

A bit of wait and confusion in the fast track line, but the self-guided tour was wonderful.

It was a wonderful tour. I really enjoyed the head sets that allowed us to take in the tour at our own pace. It was definitely worth seeing.

Great value, also we managed to avoid 2 hour lineup at peak season.

I gave this trip to my daughter Adele and her 2 sons as a present. The 10 yr old said it was the best trip he had been on and he lives in London, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it as a must. The 4yr old went along for the trip and was well behaved, so it must of kept him amused.

Using the advance purchase let us skip ahead in the queue as we already had a tour time, even though the line monitors were confused about where we were supposed to go at first.
