Right, no line up -- came a bit early, did not have to. The audio presentation was absolutely awesome, so easy to follow, proceeding at own speed. Wonderful to be in the palace of the queen. My late mother just loved the royal family, and so do I.

Very interesting. The palace is definitely worth looking at from the inside.

Wonderful to be in a palace that is still lived in and not just a museum piece. No problems at all in collecting our tickets. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London next year - this year's season finishes at the end of Sept.

It was a real treat from beginning to end. Seeing the State Room set up for a banquet was the icing on the cake!

I was so happy to finally be INSIDE Buckingham Palace. The dining set-up was so impressive. The fact that they have a different exhibit each summer would make one want to go back again and again.

What an experience to see how the royal family lives!! I am not a follower of them but the sheer beauty of the palace meant that the pre-conceived notion I had had was quickly thrown out the window. I would recommend this tour to everyone!!

We had to wait for 2 hours in 2 different queues even though we had fast track tickets. It was well worth the wait though, absolutely amazing. We later saw the summer palace in Vienna and the Palace of Versailles and I don't know which one was the best. All mouth droopingly gorgeous. Buckingham Palace was the only working Palace of the three, bad luck we couldn't take pix.

The summer opening of the Buckingham Palace state rooms was amazing! Great to see once we were inside. Unfortunately, we still had to wait in a long line once our tour was called.

This was an amazing tour and one you just simply must do! But, do not expect that you will not have to stand in line. You must stand in line for about 20 minutes or so to exchange your voucher for the actual tickets, then you must stand in line about another 20 minutes to gain entry. We were there in the middle of August so perhaps that was part of it. All in all, it was pretty smooth but skip the line was a bit misleading. Be there in time to do all of this before your designated entry time. The palace itself was magnificent. The pre-recorded device allowed you to go at your own pace. We elected the afternoon tea option but when we got to the restaurant they had never heard of us so print your voucher twice, one for the Palace ticket and one for the tea if you elect this option. The Palace will keep your first voucher.

A bit of wait and confusion in the fast track line, but the self-guided tour was wonderful.

It was a wonderful tour. I really enjoyed the head sets that allowed us to take in the tour at our own pace. It was definitely worth seeing.
