Highly recommend this trip. I think the small group mini van is the ideal way to make your way to 3 sites with considerable distance between stops. Our driver/guide Greg was a great guy and we enjoyed the day with him. It was our first trip to Stonehenge and it was worth the effort.
Excellent tour! Tour guide Tony was fantastic, very knowledge and funny. We had a great time on this tour and would highly recommended it. Would only have loved more time at Windsor Castle, and less time at Stonehenge.
"Chicago Mike" was a fantastic guide/driver for this tour! He was hilarious and knowledgeable and that made for one of the best days of our England vacation. I highly recommend this tour and being on a smaller coach vs. a large tour bus really made it easier to get around and ahead of the crowds.
We had a fantastic time. The small group is ideal for an all day trip and allowed us to have a guided tour as well as free time to explore Bath and Windsor. The tour guide was amazing - entertaining and informative.
I would highly recommend the tour!
First I need to state that our tour guide was AMAZING and was the reason (besides the sites!) that this trip worked. That said, the tour included too much to truly enjoy anything. We arrived at Stonehenge early - before the tour buses, a true joy! A theme began...we were off before we had an opportunity to see all we wanted. Second was Bath. Wonderful journey as the English countryside is glorious as it unfolds. But...if you've been to Rome, skip the long drive to Bath. Lastly was the crown jewel, Windsor Castle. I would have loved MUCH more time here...all the time we spent driving to Bath and back. If you need to see as much as possible in a short amount of time then this tour works for you.
This tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Oz, and our driver, Tony, were the absolute best! We had enough time at each location to get the most out of each. Can't say enough about this tour. Highly recommend it!
Loved the trip. Our guide, Chicago Mike, was wonderful - interesting and kept us on time. I liked the fact there were only 16 of us - made the experience more enjoyable and personal. I could have skipped Bath but that is only my opinion. I would have loved more time at Windsor Castle to take in more of the castle and the town. And Stonehenge was the highlight of the trip for me - what a peaceful and awesome place it is. Small-group tours are the way to go - I highly recommend them.
There were 8 in our group and we enjoyed David, the tour driver. I highly recommend going on this trip!
We wanted the small group experience and that is exactly what we got with our trip consisting of only one other couple! We appreciated the fact that our trip wasn't cancelled for having only four people registered. Our guide, Rupert, was great. He provided just the right amount of information at the appropriate time during our trip. And he was very accommodating in dropping us off very close to our rental. We very much liked Rupert's lunch recommendation in Bath. The itinerary was well executed and we enjoyed our visits to all three sites. From this excursion, we know the next time we visit the UK we'd like to spend more time in Bath and Windsor. The trip provided an excellent outside-of-London tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour to Stonehenge,Bath and Windsor Castle. Again it was nice to be in a small group.
Wonderful tour. Better than what I expected. The bus was brand new and comfortable. The group was small, so everyone was quick to get on and off the bus and we did not waste any time. We arrived at Stonehenge before anyone else. This allowed us to take great pictures. By the time we left, the parking lot was filling up. We headed off to Bath, which was a beautiful little town. We had plenty of time to see the Roman Baths and have lunch. We had about 30 extra minutes after a good amount of time at the Baths and lunch to walk around the town. Finally, we ended up at Windsor Castle. There is tons to see here, but the time we were given was enough for me as I skipped over the things inside the castle that I wasn't really interested in. We had about 20 minutes left to get an ice cream and walk into a few shops. Our guide, Tony, was great. It was like having a built in comedian in the tour. We were laughing the entire drive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made the drive in between the stops seem so short. I think the longest drive was about an hour and a half, but it felt like thirty minutes. I usually fall asleep on long tour drives, but he kept us all awake and laughing. I would highly recommend this tour... And if I ever return to London, I would try to make sure I have the same guide. Everything was perfect. I don't have a single complaint.
Tours of this nature are great because you get to experience so much in one day. Tours like this are also very brief because of the amount you fit into an entire day. We loved it, although rushed, and would recommend to anyone looking to mark three world heritage sites off their bucket list. Stonehenge is an incredible area with great mystery surrounding it. Bath is a city that transports you back to Roman times. Windsor is almost as good as Buckingham Palace. Guide was great and showed incredible patience when dealing with individuals who think they can make their own schedules.
