Why Our Insiders Chose This Tour
It's awesome to be able to visit three amazing attractions outside London in one day -- beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, mysterious Stonehenge and the ancient Roman Baths are all included.
What You Can Expect
Bath's Georgian Crescents, England
Salisbury
You will start the day visiting the beautiful town of Salisbury which is world famous for its 750-year-old cathedral, boasting the tallest spire in England. Admission is included to the cathedral and you will have two hours to spend discovering this captivating town.
Stonehenge
Traveling even further back in time through the rolling Wessex landscape, you will arrive in Stonehenge. Who dragged these massive stones to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago, and why? These questions have haunted the minds of centuries of scholars. You will have the opportunity to walk around these magical stones and contemplate the landscape in which they were erected so many centuries ago.
Bath
Your final stop is Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture. You'll take a panoramic tour of Bath, passing Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge (modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence) and the town's perfectly proportioned Georgian crescents. You will also visit the Roman Baths, the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world, stunningly restored during the Victorian era. You'll have time to shop and explore Bath's compact and largely pedestrianized city center at your leisure.
Due to planned road closures for the Ride London event, there will be no hotel pickup on Aug 3 and 4, 2013.
Customer Reviews
May 2013
We had a very very good tour guide who was funny and made history come alive for us every step of the way, even while we were still in London. There was plenty of time for us to wander around each location, and the bus ride was smooth. I'd recommend this tour without hesitation.
June 2013
Really well organized and scheduled. The tour guide, Daniel, was awesome and very helpful. I had a very enjoyable time, free of worries. Next time, I will plan visiting two places instead of one, I wish I would have had more time to see Bath. Nothing to do with their service but my planning.
