We enjoyed this tour and since I had been to London before knew where I wanted to hop off, etc.

We enjoyed the hop on hop off very much as it was a great day to sit on the top deck of the bus. However, we did not get off at the river as our last stop to take advantage of the river ride. We would have had to go all the way back to the starting point in order to take advantage of the river ride. My advice to others is do the Thames River ride first, then take the hop on hop off ride. That way if time runs out, you will not miss out on both.

It was hard to find the location for redeeming the voucher, but once we did, we got on the buses several times. We had different guides; some were good and some were not. It was hard to decipher their sense of humor. The buses went by most of the landmarks and provided lots of information.

Good way of seeing the major sites. Tour descriptions were good. Driver was rude. It was difficult finding the pickup point for the start of the tour by Madame Tussaud's as this is not the only double-decker tour bus operator in the vicinity.

A great and inexpensive way to get around all the sightseeing places in London.

We hit a day that was windy, cold and rainy and it would have been nice to have some heat on the bus. The windows steamed up and we couldn't see so had to open the windows. We finally went upstairs and it would have been nice if the top could have been covered in the event of rain. The following day we went on the Thames River tour in better weather and really enjoyed it. The staff were all helpful and informative. We booked online and had no trouble with the confirmation.

Every city we visit, we make sure we first ride the hop on hop off buses. It gives you a chance to get a quick city tour and then focus on the things you want to see in depth. The London bus is quite expensive compared to other cities however.

What I liked most was that it was a live commentary. I have taken these hop on hop off tours before and they were recorded. This version was much nicer.

I really enjoyed going to London. I guess the only thing I wasn't too happy about was that we were sitting on the bus waiting for traffic or taking detours rather than getting the whole experience and history of the city. We ended up taking the underground and checking it out ourselves.

Hop on hop off is definitely the way to go to see all the sights. In only 24 hrs, though, it's hard to spend quality time at everything, so make sure you plan ahead. Only bad thing was sometimes were were waiting at a bus stop and we would see 3 or 4 tour buses from another company come by before one of ours showed up. Not sure what the price difference is, but something to consider as other companies may have more frequency.
