This is really the best way to beat the crowds and get to see the Royal Mews and the Palace but go at your own pace. Very easy access and instructions and when in London this is a must do
Again, a superb tour. Buckingham Palace is wonderful and breathtaking to visit. The mews were fantastic but the palace more so. The tour ended with an opportunity to have morning or afternoon tea is royal style and it was a great finale to the tour. It was slow paced, not stressful and very rewarding. The grounds were superb to walk through and it was just about the best tour we went on. I would thoroughly recommend this tour as well and the all day Downton and Cotswolds tour too.
Four of us all enjoyed the whole visit to the Royal Mews and The Palace, would definitely be going again next year.
Marvellous experience everything was fine. The thing that surprised us most was how much access we had to the palace. The mews gave a terrific insight of the grandeur of coaches etc.
Well organised and fascinating! I recommend this tour for everyone!
Confusing where to meet our guide. He wasted our time. He did not know how to get our tickets. While we were in the stables he could have got our Buckingham tickets but instead kept us waiting outside to get the tickets. The Palace tour itself was great
Well organized. Our guide was right on time and very knowledgeable. It saves so much time to be able to arrange a tour and get your tickets from home. We will use Viator again.
Amazing. Not too crowded or too rushed. Able to wander through independently,,taking as much time as desired. Audio headsets provided. Highly recommended!!!
The tour guide met us on time at the Royal Mews and let us wandered around the Royal Mews at our own pace for an hour. He then met us to a short walk to the Buckingham Palace. After going through security, we took our time to look through the splendor of the interior of the Palace. It was awesome and well worth it!
The guide was prompt. He made certain that our entry in palace was on time. Gave us precise directions.
The Buckingham Palace was great, we had a lovely tour guide. Seeing the Royal Mews was really interesting. Buckingham Palace was amazing, wish I could have taken photos inside. Would recommend it to anyone, the audio was very informative.
The palace is a MUST SEE for anyone touring London! It is gorgeous inside, and set-up very well for visitors when it is open. The gardens out back are also amazing, and there is a little 'Queens Cafe' where you can have tea after your tour. I highly recommend scheduling your London trip around the times Buckingham is open!
The visit was fantastic and more than met our expectations. We visited the mews and the palace itself. We had access to very impressive areas of both areas and finished the tour with afternoon tea at the rear of the palace. A bucket list entry not to be missed!
We were able to jump the queue and walk through many rooms at Buckingham Palace, which was wonderful.
The only frustration was that we were allocated 1.5 hours in the mews first, we enjoyed the mews but half an hour would have been plenty.
The tour itself was mostly self done so not sure about the benefit of the guide. Wish she could have told more information along the way or while we were waiting. I guess the benefit was getting into the locations.
We recommend on doing the Buckingham Palace tour, This was a self guided tour on your own at your own pace, Also included was a visit to the Mews, I must admit we were disappointed in this tour as not enough time was allocated on visiting and having a look around the Mews, We were only given 1/2 if that and believe me that was not enough time to see all. So I would give that one a miss and find a Tour on Buckingham Palace on its own and do not pay for the Mews
Good tour but not as advertised in our opinion. organising the tickets from the voucher was nothing short of shambolic and wasted close to half an hour before it was finally sorted out. When we finally discovered where our tour guide was, we had to congregate on a very narrow footpath in the first instance and then in something like a sheep corral while our tour organised argued with someone about where the tickets were. Personally, i think we would have been better off just going to the counter, buying our own tickets because it was all self guided anyway. organisation needs massive improvement.
The tour was wonderful, however it is self-led. The tour people were Trafalgar. All they did was gather us together and get us in. We still had to wait in line. The tour from Viator was overpriced, about 68 dollars a person. I could have bought tickets there for about 30 dollars for the same thing (17 pounds). Do not waste your money. Go directly to the Buckingham Palace website or buy same day tickets there. Mind you it is only open for 2 months a year.
terrible... the address for the tickets/trip was ambiguous... the website where I bought the tickets was NOT clear that I was NOT buying tickets directly from Buckingham Palace... no one knew exactly where to meet.. many folks standing around 5-10 minutes before tour scheduled not knowing what was going on.... I went directly to palace ticket both, bought new tickets, and wrote the entire Viator purchase off as a loss... I will never buy tickets from you again and am telling all my friends bound for UK to use you at risk
