Tour guide was excellent! Made the rainy day bright and sunny.
We had a great time. Being able to visit the State Rooms in Windsor Castle was informative and an eye-opener. Viewing St.George's Chapel brought back memories of a visit in 1981 and also what I had forgotten. Good tour guide and nice to finish with a Fish and Chip lunch at the Tattersalls Inn.
the begining of this tour started out shocking, the day before this tour i rang the tour operator and he said to be in the foyer of our hotel at 7.40am which we arrived at and the person that greeted us was rude and arrogant and told us we were late which i took offence to and later on the bus he said to everyone on board it was like rounding up stray cats and that the only good tourist was a dead one.we spoke to some americans on the bus and they said he was the same with them.after we transfered to our tour bus things changed dramatically and the tour was the best on our european tour, exceptional
The Windsor Castle Tour was great. Our Tour guide kept us moving so we could see most everything in the castle and the church in the short amount of time allotted to us. Could have spent all day exploring the site. Our tour guide David kept us amused with his British dry sense of humor and his exaggerations and falsehoods. Overall he kept us entertained. The lunch stop after the tour was good.
David was an amazing guide! So many interesting stories and facts which made the tour that much more enjoyable and interesting. Wouldn't have been the same without him!

Excellent Tour. I highly recommend it to first time travelers to England!
Lovely trip to the castle. Appreciated the extra hour this tour allowed; we were able to take our time. The fish n chips lunch at the pub was delightful!
I would give this tour a 5 out of 5 for the venue alone. The castle and St. Georges chapel were in short amazing and I would even do it again. However we were on a time restriction and most people in my group were going on to Stonehenge and Bath etc. I was to wait an hour for another bus to take me back to London. Therefore I had plenty of time to look around. We had to wait so long to get into the castle that it really didn't allow very much time to look around. I felt very sorry for the others who waited patiently. There must be an easier way of moving people through the security checks.
Excellent, Windsor was fantastic and Harrods lunch was brilliant and exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.
Windsor was possibly better than we expected. We had lots of time. The guide was good. Harrod's lunch was top class
Easy way to get out of London and to the castle. No hastles. Dropped off at Harrods for a buffet lunch including main entrees and desserts.
Great tour made greater by our guide. He made getting to and from an absolute pleasure.
This was a wonderful experience. The time at Windsor was just right for someone who did not have much time in England. The lunch at Harrods was a delightful highlight of my trip.
On another note, the confusion at the bus terminal was terrible and fellow tour members were quite unhappy. Our printed information said 8:00 departure, but there was no signage or indication of where we were to be. At 8:00 tour employees began arriving and there was some electronic signage, but confusion reigned for 45 minutes. Employees rushed around with lists of names, but seemed unable to bring much order or answer questions. This part of the day needs more attention - it creates a very stressful beginning for travelers who don't know what to expect.
Great tour- but would recommend a full day at Windsor. It is so huge and so much to cover- you really need at least 5 hrs. Lots of walking so bring comfortable shoes.
Windsor Castle is a fascinating place to visit and I could have spent all day at the Castle and the Village. Ian, our tour guide, was excellent.
It was only a short trip to Windsor and we had a very chatty guide so the time passed very quickly. Once at Windsor Castle we had quite a bit of free time to explore the Castle we where lucky as The Changing of the Guard was on the day we where there. Lunch at Harrods was quite a surprise the food was delicious and the Georgian Restaurant was really beautiful. Great trip only half a day which gives you the afternoon free we used it to explore Harrods.
We had originally booked a full day starting with Windsor Castle Lunch at Harrods and afternoon Tower of London. However the afternoon portion was cancelled and a voucher issued during the trip. The pick up point was very convenient and the guide pleasant and friendly. The Windsor tour was wonderful we even had time to see the changing of the guards. We had enough time to do some shopping in the town. We stopped into "Woods Of Windsor" which has been selling perfumes etc to the Royal Family for over 200 years. You can only buy these items at that location. Lunch at Harrods was really a nice experience. Elegant and unhurried, just what we would have expected.
Really nice tour. Anyone would enjoy Windsor Castle and the lunch was great!
Windsor Castle was brilliant (the day was warm and sunny, which helped). Also the Lunch at Harrods was fantastic. Definately recommend both.
A really good tour of Windsor - would have loved to have more time to explore - so would go back on my own, Lunch at Harrods was delicious. Would reccommend this half day tour
This is THE tour to do in London!! The setting for Windsor Castle is charming!! The lunch at Harrods was absolutely luxurious! An amazing buffet with salads, hot dishes, divine sweets and a wonderful pot of tea! Don't miss this tour!
We had a relatively small group as tours go which was nice. Our guide provided interesting commentary both to and from the castle. The tour inside the castle relies on earphone commentary which was easy to operate. The castle itself is amazing. Lunch at Harrods was very nice, especially if you haven't explored Harrods already. Harrods is huge and requires a brochure in order to navigate the department store so allow plenty of time to shop. One nice thing about the tour was that the guide was very helpful by dropping people off as close as possible to their hotel or next destination.
