Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the 3-Day Las Vegas and Grand Canyon Tour from Los Angeles. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
The long bus rides are completely worth what is waiting at the end of the line. The beautiful scenary along the way makes the journey enjoyable. On the way to Vegas, the tour guide makes you giggle and offers beverages/nibbles. Though the trip to the canyon is very long, the tour guide we had made the ride very easy and was happy and sounded like he enjoyed his job. He gave good information and made an effort to get to know everyone as much as he could. The Grand Canyon was by far the highlight of the trip! Photographs do not do this natural beauty any justice, you will have to go see it for yourself!
Everything that I planned months ahead from Australia was experienced free of any stress because it was always on time exciting well commentated and so enjoyable staff at every place were attentive to all our needs and accommodation was superb with great views and the day at the canyon was so memorable
We have taken this tour 4 times in the last 5 years with 2 or 3 young adult grandchildren and they have loved every moment
Comfort was superb at hotel on the super bus from Los Angeles to Vegas and we considered it best value for money
Company easy to contact and we made direct bookings with them from Melbourne
Want to bring more of my large family on next trip
OUR TRIP WAS EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING.THE DRIVER-TOUR GUIDE BY THE NAME OF MARK WAS NOT ONLY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT ALSO KIND AND FUNNY.OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS WELL PLANNED AND ORGANIZED.WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO ANYBODY.
We were very happy with all aspects of the tour. The accommodation was first class the us trips enjoyable and all at an affordable price. We would recommend this tour to friends and family. Thanks Viator!
Absolutely loved this tour, Las Vegas was great fun!!! The bus journey to Vegas was long but you had refreshments and films to keep you entertained. Only downside is you have to walk or catch a taxi to your hotel, which you were only told about when getting into Vegas, the bus stops at Harrahs.
The Grand Canyon tour is again a very long day but worth it as when you get to the canyon you have the option to walk along the rim( highly recommended!!!)
The hotel was brilliant, great location, smaller compared to the other hotels around!! This tour was over booked but they sorted everything out for me including hotel pickup, flights inc baggage and hotel drop off back in LA!!
Would highly recommend this tour!!
Excellent tour, well organised. Unfortunately it poured with rain at the canyon, but still very good.
I had a fabulous time...Viator really took care of me from departure to return. I'm looking forward to planning my next trip through Viator. Thank you so much for making my 50th birthday a memorable occasion.
We had a very short time to explore this part of the USA so this was a good choice. We only had a few days in LA and really wanted to see the Grand Canyon and I am very glad we did.
My daughter and I were impressed at the organisation and professionalism showed by the collecting, transporting and information delivered whist traveling.
Our coaches to Las Vegas and the later to the Grand Canyon were comfortable and in excellent condition. The tour leader on the coach to Vegas and back was great fun and her Russian jokes a treat. Frosty our driver and tour guide to the Grand Canyon was one of the best I have encountered in my world wide travels. Clear in his instructions so that the whole day was kept on schedule; full of good information and courteous to all. I would try to have him as our tour guide if ever in that area again.
The tour was very good value for money considering the coach trips; accommodation offered and enjoyment experienced. My only reservation would be the time taken in traveling to Las Vegas and then to the Canyon. But that is more my own fault as I had not realised how far it was from LA. Fortunately the time spent travelling was interspersed with excellent information provided, enough pit stops and a hefty lunch on the day to the Grand canyon.
All in all I would highly recommend this tour to others.
The Imperial Palace was great and located in the very center of Las Vegas. Grand Canon tour is the next day, arrival late in the evening. The 3rd day, you're free to visit LV until the bus departure. Lux Bus Company was good and did a relaxed trip.
Trip was amazing - very good value for money. Driver to the Grand Canyon Robert was fabulous. Only negative was a problem checking into the hotel in Vegas, as it was a casino hotel you need to be 21 to check in, I was two weeks away from my 21st birthday which caused a problem, thankfully another passenger assisted me and signed for my room. I feel to save others from this difficulty when booking the trip Viator should confirm DOB. Overall fantastic.
So glad we squeezed this tour in. Very informative and seeing the GC was truly awesome.LV was an eye-opener and culture-shock at first but as non-drinkers/gamblers we found some great things to look at and do there incl. a divine landscape painting exhibition. We would never stay again at the hotel/casino included in the tour though- despite a room upgrade we arranged and paid for ourselves.Guides/drivers great fun.
Very well organised trip . The hotel in Vegas was reasonable in a very good location.Grand Canyon part of the trip was very good with an excellent driver (Ron) who made it a memorable day.Heartily recommend this company and would certainly use again.
It was a god choice to go to Vegas with this commpany. The pick up was on time. Driver was very nice and helpful.Travel from LA to Vegas was about 4 hours. The hostess on this trip was very kind. Hotel in Vegas was on main street, beside Flamingo. It was very good location and a nice enough hotel. The tour to the Canyon was a long, about 14 hours, but was worth all those hours in the bus. The driver / guide was very funny and helpfull with all information about Vegas and neighbourhood. It was a long but very goog trip. I'll recomended.
This trip was excellent value. The pick up from the hotel was on time and everything operated really efficiently. The drivers and guides we had over the two days were excellent. Lux bus really do the transfers to Las Vegas very well and the driver guide we had on the day trip to the Canyon was excellent and kept everyone moving without making us feel rushed. He also gave some very good information and tips and made a very long day fun and entertaining.
Took a little while to be confirmed and ended up costing a little bit more than advertised but was well worth every cent!! Grand Canyon was amazing!!! Good accommodation but right down the end of the strip in Vegas. Great coach ride to and from LA.
This tour was really good. Lux Bus Company was great to travel with and the grand canyon tour bus company was terrific as well. Well worth doing!
The only challenge was the weather. The tour is worth taking.
arrived at the pick up hotel in santa monica, when mini bus arrived they had no record of our trip on their itinery, driver took us anyway to anaheim after contacting his office, after that we booked in at anaheim but still did not appear on several itineries on our way to vegas , trip went well apart from fact no one told us the imperial palace had been renamed the quad even after arriving in vegas, overall the trip was great despite the distance travelled
We had a great trip! Vegas lives up to its name 'Sin City', but the true highlight was visiting the Grand Canyon. We went on Christmas and was confronted by a snow covered Canyon (we'll at the top of the canyon), which contrasted brilliantly with the wonder.
Pickups were well organised and always on time. Buses were comfortable and drivers and guides informative and friendly. We got a lovely room at the Imperial Hotel - it was clean and comfortable. Grand Canyon was beautiful. We got good value for money so it was 3 days well spent.
