Erick was our guide. Highly informative and entertaining. Took a reasonable amount of time climbing the hills so we weren't worn out at the top. Pace was good. Loved the view at night. Eric also stayed with us during a lengthy wait for a taxi at the end of the tour
Our guide Elsa was right on time. She was very informative of the history of Griffith Park and got us to the top of the Hollywood Hills with great vantage points for photos. The company rep was very helpful on directing us to the right meeting location. Great exercise. Highly recommend.
Eric was awesome! Great views and interesting locations. The walk was well narrated the the Griffith Park truly holds some amazing history. Perfect for a quick stop in LA.
This was the best part of our trip! Elsa was our guide and we were fortunate to be the only two in the group (Mother/Daughter.) We felt extremely comfortable with her and relaxed and never rushed. She explained in great detail the history of Colonel Griffith, the park, the Observatory, the Hollywood Sign, and LA and the surrounding areas in general. She talked to my daughter (16 years old) like they were friends about college and life in LA. We didn't want the tour to end! The hike was a "real" hike, not a "touristy" type at all. It was exactly what we were looking for. Bikes and Hikes was awesome by staying in touch with me until we met up with Elsa, despite poor cell phone coverage. She was very helpful getting a ride after the tour and recommending local places to eat for dinner. We are so glad we met Elsa!
Tour guide was awesome, sites were amazing, very informative. Will do this tour again.
Hike and guide were both fantastic!! This was such a great way to celebrate our first night in LA. Only suggestion to improve is,"pick up and drop off" should be included, because most drivers don't know where the location is and there is almost no mobile connection to call again when complete.
An amazing way to see LA. Our guide Rob was very informative and made sure he kept the pace to suit our speed, once at the top it was all worth it with amazing sweeping views over LA. We stopped off at the observatory on the way down too which was a bonus as we hadn't made it there yet.
If you are looking for something different to do in LA then this is it.
Great experience, great guide!

Our tour guide was incredible! She was very informative about the history of the area we were hiking and made it fun for everyone (ages ranged from 12-42.) We had a great time and didn't even realize we were exercising! We loved it. Definitely the highlight of our stay in LA!
Our hike around Griffith Park and the Observatory was a unique experience and very enjoyable. Our tour guide was punctual and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The only downside was that it would have been better to have shoes more suitable for hiking. Otherwise, the hike was suited to our abilities, and the views both before an after sunset were spectacular! We would highly recommend this hike as a unique and fantastic LA experience away from the congestion and traffic.
Mike was great despite the overcast weather which was a bit of a disappointment. He made the hike informative and interesting and paced us well. We all plan to book with you again sometime in the future. Your sunset tour sounds particularly enticing. A great experience overall!!
Mike from Bikes and Hikes was FANTASTIC. Very informative. Even though it was raining he still made it a great time. Highly recommend them for other tours.
Excellent outing! Our guide, Michael, was knowledgeable and helpful as we (70 yo couple) moved carefully up and down a number of demanding hills. The terrain was beautiful but not as easy as advertised. Fine for us, but could be problematic if one were not in good physical condition. Hope more people get to appreciate the lovely countryside so close to so many millions of people. And I left my rain jacket in Michael's backpack. The company kindly delivered it to our hotel with no hesitation. Much appreciated. A and T
