Was a long day, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Jose, our driver, was fantastic!! He pointed out interesting spots on the trip to Tijuana and on arrival in Mexico he gave us clear instructions regarding where our pick up place and what our meeting time was. He got us there and back safely. Nothing was a bother. Never having been to Mexico before this trip was a great way to experience it. Highly recommend :-)
Guide was amazing would not have been able to negotiate the boarder crossing with out him. Interesting visit
Great trip the tour guide was fantastic,showed us all there was at tijuana.even dropped us off at our hotel in redondo beach

Loved this trip- a big day but so worth it, was it my favorite part of our entire american trip.Our driver,Jose made this a trip really easy and was a good sort, PS the margaritas and mexican pottery rocked.

Excellent tour - well worth the trip - of course the traders all want a sale but you don't have to buy if you don't want to. Enjoyable time
Very long day and crossing the border back can take up to 3 hours! but very interesting experience
The driver did not give any background on any part of the trip fro LA to the border and back. He considered his job as driver only. wasted opportunity to give us really great experience. However the time TJ was great
The day trip to Tijuana is a good mix of fun, shopping and adventure. There a lot of "pharmacies" that will sell you the usual meds without prescription and I loved the snake skin boots but there was no way Mr Customs was going to let me back into Australia with them. That is one thing to remember when you get carried away with the moment of shopping, that most things can come back into the USA but not so into Australia

The time frame was quite rushed and short, mind you there is not too much to Tijuana, but it was that quick because getting back over the border can take some time. However if I had to choose to do this again, I would probably not and choose somewhere else in Latin America.
Could not recommend anything about this tour operator. We were late leaving in the morning with no explanation given. No commentary was provided on the way and we learned afterwards that we passed places of interest especially around San Diego. On the return we were transferred to a smaller bus to be dropped at hotels, and after more that an hour of driving around, one drop at a hotel had been made we were still a long way from our hotel and we left the bus in disgust and caught a taxi to our hotel. We were very tired and annoyed by 9.30pm when we got back to our hotel.
