Despite a traumatic start, as the information we had as to where the tour started was out of date and we had to rush to the re-located start point, the tours (actually two separate tours) were great. The first tour in a luxurious bi-level coach had plenty of stops at attractions in Hollywood and L.A, with our guide expertly piloting our group through the crowds and providing for plenty of photo opportunities. But whilst that tour was very enjoyable, the second tour was even better. With a smaller more personal group in a mini-bus, we were able to get to and stop at (on request) locations we only passed in the earlier tour. Brian, our guide, was quite a quirky character, full of the most extraordinary information and encouraged participation from everyone. With so many stars now preferring remoter parts of the Canyons and Malibu, the opportunities to spot celebrities is remote, but being able to experience the famous locations of Hollywood, Beverley Hills and surrounds was still outstanding. Highly recommended.

The LA tour was excellent, featuring a comfortable tour coach, plenty of stops to look at the major attractions with an enthusiastic, well informed and approachable guide. The Movie Stars Homes tour was even better with a smaller group in a more intimate mini bus, a brilliant, accommodating, though quirky guide and a terrific time had by all.

We got to see a lot. But it was about 2 hours too long. It got dark on the last half, and you could not see the tour of the homes, and a lot of what the tour guide talked about we had already seen on the 1st half of the trip.

A great introduction to LA with really friendly and informative guides on both parts of the tour. If you do have to drive down, don't worry, there's great cheap parking just behind the Chinese Theatre - just $10 for the whole day!

Was very entertaining and informative, however a little long when we shifted from 'Tour of Los Angeles' to 'Movie Stars Homes' tours, they repeated a lot of the tour and information, this made this portion rather tedious.

Excellent way to see lots of Hollywood and downtown LA if only visiting for a few days.

The Grand Tour was very good. Don't bother with the Movie Stars' Homes Tour, I think it was a bit of a waste of time.

Grand Tour - very good tour, especially for seeing the sights in one day. Excellent guides. Nice comfortable buses. Movie Star Homes - nice to see how the rich live, but our tour guide was difficult to understand.

The sightseeing tour was fantastic, highly recommended, however, on the Stars homes, couldn't really understand our driver, he spoke very quickly and with a strong NY accent which I couldn't grasp. We didn't see any celebrities, and the driver kept repeating himself and forgetting what he was saying. Saw some good houses, but also lots of houses of celebrities that we had never heard of, or where people used to live. Our driver seemed amazed that we didn't know who Bob Barker was, and we had to remind him that no one on our bus was American. At the end of the trip we had to endure a 2 hour detour to a hotel out near the airport to drop someone off, this didn't make sense to me as the other 6 of us were all staying at the same hotel in West Hollywood and it would have been nice to be dropped off first.
