On the whole, this tour was great, well organized, although hotel pickup in LA is too early prior to available check-in at the kings Inn. Comfortable buses, free Wi-Fi, courteous drivers, offering thorough commentary while on the road. Hotel pretty good, enjoyed the Waffle diner, and Mexican restaurant onsite. San Diego activities, the Zoo and Sea-World are first rate. It was unclear while booking that no transport would be organized while in San Diego, but a minor hassle. We used public train/bus. It is about 20 minutes walk from Fashion Valley train stop to the Kings Inn, so be aware of that!
Trip was great, very good driver. Only problem when we got to the Handlery Hotel, Viator had not emailed our reservation so we had to wait for a room. The hotel was very nice and made good accommodations for us but it was a little unnverving, thinking we did not have a room reserved. Otherwise great trip. Mark was an excellent driver and pointed out many places of interest on the way.
The tour was good however we had trouble getting the correct bus. You get one bus from your hotel and then you swap buses at a terminal. The terminal was full of buses and people and nobody knew what was going on. We got on a bus to San Diego but it was a daytrip to seaworld instead of our multi day tour to San Diego. We told the bus driver when we arrived and she told us to go to seaworld for the day and left us. We had to ring Viator who sent the driver back who took us to our hotel. After that everything rang smoothly!
It wasnt a tour! They forgot are tickets but since we called them they send them to the King Inn Hotel a really cheesy MOTEL. They souldnt call it a tour it's more a bus drive drop and pick up with the seaworld tickets ( at lease sea world was beautiful).
