Great, relaxing, on time, heaps to see on the way better than flying all the time.
My husband and I were impressed by the staff, the comfort of the bus, and the timely departure and arrival. It was a pleasurable experience and we will use the service again.
Used feeder vehicle to meet up at central point to board bus - very smooth transition. Had tour of Anaheim to pick up other pax but interesting as we had not seen this area before. Noted from previous reviews that stops were not popular but this is par for the course & if this is a problem you can always take a private transfer & pay more! Drivers very helpful & professional & particularly liked door to door service..
Very comfortable ride! Pickup was on time, comfortable temperature and smooth ride. Trip took a little longer than expected as our hotel was outside of the downtown area - total time approximately 3.5 hours from LA to San Diego, including picking up of other guests and traffic. This is definitely the best way to travel between the two cities, much better than public transport, and no hassle of a rental car. Minimal commentary along the way as you travel the highway for the most part.
My driver was absolutely the best. He went out of his way to keep passengers informed and to ensure their comfort.
The shuttle service was very professional and efficient - got us there quicker than expected! The driver was very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to book again.
Easy, quick and comfortable.
My only complaint is that we had to change buses at Anaheim
The trip there took almost as long as the trip to San Diego as we stopped at about 6 hotels!
The courtesy shuttle was nice. Everything was good except your out of luck if you're not staying at one of the hotels they are connected with.
Apart from bus being late they where very good gave u lots of information
We had no commentary as stated in the booking. We were disappointed by this. Our pickup time of 7am was too early for an 11.30 booking. Other than these things everything went efficiently.
Would have preferred pick up at airport. Also didn't realise we would be stopping in Disney Seat I had didn't have headrest and after 15 hour flight I was tired. Driver was fast but good. Thank u
The process was a bit fiddly as we had to wait for a connecting bus for a while and the trip itself was longer than expected. However the driver was great and went out of his way to help us get to our hostel.
Regarding pick-up time sent several e-mails, got no detailed answer, bad communication in general. Never again will I use your services.
The shuttle was okay. After 2 hours of making several pick-ups at different locations and a bus change at the main depot we were finally on our way to our destination of San Diego. The highway was so extremely bumpy with potholes making it a most uncomfortable ride. I can't imagine what it would have been like for someone with back pain issues. Our driver made no comments along the way, about the sites we were passing. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't any commentary. Our drop-off location in San Diego was 3 blocks from the hotel we were staying at so we had to take a taxi because of having our luggage with us, it would have been too difficult to walk.
Viator incorrectly advertised as door- to- door yet the supplier informed us on confirmation that this was in error and that we would be dropped off at a "close" hotel. To top it off, there was a delay of over 30 mins in Anaheim that isn't clearly mentioned and delays can be longer apparently.
The bus was fantastic though and the trip pleasant enough and after paying a fair tip, the driver did drop us off at the door of our hotel, and glad he did as the distance was considerable and with luggage in tow, would have been a nightmare on the hot day we arrived....
Due to be picked up at 7.30am, bus company did not arrive until 8.30! On confirming the pick up, I was also informed that the hotel we were staying at in San Diego was not on their route and so we would have to find our own way to Downtown, 9 mins away! It was also not explained that there was a changeover at Anaheim.
Once at Anaheim, we discovered we were the only customers and Ben, our driver, was exceptional - full of knowledge, polite, friendly and more importantly took us straight to the door.
So whilst being a cheaper option and probably a lost less hassle than flying, make sure you check the hotels they will pick up from and drop you off at in San Diego.
The service driver was not helpful and didn't know our hotel - we ended up getting off and walking to the hotel as we knew we were at the hotel we should have been and our luggage got very badly damaged in transit

In my opinion the transfer was bad. Fïrst pick up passangers for 3 hour before the trip to San Diego actualy started. Then only 11/2 hour to San Diego after buschange. I belive the train would be faster.
This seemed like the perfect way to get from Hollywood to San Diego. When I booked I couldn't be picked up from my hotel, I had to walk to the Roosevelt. That was the only information any of us travellers were given so for over half an hour 6 of us waited in various locations around the Roosevelt waiting for our bus.
We were promised a commentary - pointing out a nuclear power plant and an army base does not constitute a commentary.
When we arrived in San Diego we discovered there were only two drop off points! One near Sea World and the other the Sheraton Four Seasons. So there was a long walk ahead of us in the heat.
This is a bus, it is not a shuttle! Save your money and take the Amtrak to San Diego and then a cab to your hotel.
Disappointed, when I initially made this reservation, I was told that I could be dropped off at the hotel i was staying at in San Diego. When my trip was confirmed by the tour operator I was then told they do not drop off at my hotel. I then had to take a taxi from a hotel just 2 miles away. The trip which should've taken 21/2 hours to 4 + with all the stops. Next time I would rent a car.
