What You Can Expect
Follow your experienced guide on a 32-mile adventure through some of the most popular sites and attractions of the greater Los Angeles area, with several breaks along the way to catch your breath. Your guide ensures your small group stays on bicycle routes away from LA traffic.
You’ll get up close to LA attractions and locations that bus tours may miss, from the celebrity homes of Beverly Hills and Bel-Air to notable beaches and seaside towns such as Santa Monica, Venice and Marina Del Rey. Ride along historic Route 66 and the Sunset Strip, and cycle past the shopping and dining district of Robertson Boulevard and the fashionable Melrose Avenue.
Your guide points out Brentwood Village, the Pacific Design Center (PDC), UCLA, a home designed by famous architect Frank Gehry, and the Veterans Memorial Complex and Culver Studios in Culver City — all while you’re entertained with interesting stories and videos about LA’s rich history.
Stop for a 30-minute guided walking tour of the Greystone Mansion, including the grounds and gardens, and break for lunch (own expense) at Venice Beach, where you can enjoy the canals, skate parks and Muscle Beach.
On the way back to West Hollywood, pedal along a picturesque bike path that follows the Los Angeles River past some of Hollywood’s movie studios. After your tour, it's just a short walk to the amusements of the Santa Monica Pier and the many shops of the Third Street Promenade.
Brilliant way to see LA . Our guides Angie and Charlie were superb , great knowledge and an easy going nature added to the experience . It is impossible to see so much on any other form of transport . A must do a moderate level of fitness and knowledge of using a bike with gears is advantageous as some hills , but plenty of stops
Wow. Incredible tour. Great guide and really informative.
Exciting romp through the hot spots of west LA. Much more satisfying than a lame paparazzi bus tour. You'll be able to savor the locations and views of the cityscape with the pride of accomplishment after your 32-mile journey. Expect celebrity homes, culturally diverse neighborhoods, ocean-side parks, and criminally-overlooked landmarks, all framed within fascinating historical perspective. If you can, request a tour with Taylor. You'll be glad you did.
Excellent trip - thoroughly recommend it and led by a great guide Jonno.
Although quite a long and strenuous ride it was a great way to see the sights. Our guide, Jordan was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and very thoughtful. The group we went with was lots of fun.
